Q: I want to make a chai tea recipe using whole spices..I've never used whole cardamom..Would these work for toasting and using in a tea blend?

Just crush green cardamom and put this in boiling water. Than make your tea as usual. This will give excellent flavor.

Q: Do you eat the whole pod or do you have to open and only eat the seeds inside?

You actually can eat the pod, i used to eat them for car sickness , it really helps. The seeds inside can be used for baking, sweets. The entire pod, crushed so its open, can be used for savory cooking.

Q: is the corriander seeds and pods the same??

Seeds are found inside of the pods.

Q: are these pods organic?

I'm sorry that I don't still have the pkg. I emptied the pods into a jar. Unless the product says 'organic' on it, or in the description, then it's probably NOT organic....that's been my experience.
