Q: What size for a 9yr old?

It depends on the size of the 9 year old! I checked the size chart and ordered based on the measurements there and the measurements of my grandson. It fit him perfectly!!

Q: Is the head hole stretchy? I have a kid that is very particular about hoodies not being tight when putting on.

Color is off

The color is closer to royal blue than what is shown in the advertisement. Otherwise a great hoodie for my 8 year old.

Perfect for bleach and sublimation

I needed a sweatshirt to bleach and sublimate for my son and this worked perfect. I would say it runs a tad bit small, my son usually wears a medium. I bought a large and it fits great.
