Application tips

Studio XL Fine Oil can be applied with a brush or knife (in thin or thick coats), alone or mixed with our various auxiliaries on canvas, cardboard, wood, etc.

Substrates: Canvas, cardboard, wood, metal, etc.
Drying: 2 to 6 days on average, depending on the thickness applied. It is advisable to allow 6 to 9 months drying time before varnishing.
Thinning: Essences, oils or mediums depending on the desired effect.
Protecting the work: Protect the work with our different varnishes (Crystal Finish, Satin Finish, Matt Finish, etc.) which form a uniform protective film. Apply when the work is completely dry, except for the varnish to be retouched.
