QeeLink Leather Welding Apron with 6 Pockets - Heat & Flame-Resistant Apron, 24'' X 42'', Adjustable M to XXXL

This is much better quality than I expected for $40 product. I can’t believe that a leather product with all the extras, pockets, inner liner, and straps can be sold for such a low price. I was expecting a thin use it a few times and toss it product, but got something that looks like it should cost way more than $100. Some have complained of the smell, I don’t see any problems, smells fine to me.

As an amateur blacksmith, I started gathering tools and equipment I thought I'd need before getting started. I snagged this after reading some reviews, and have not been disappointed. It's comfortable and protects, and has held up well just hanging on one of the hooks I made in my workshop/garage. It's quite a good deal for what you get and I highly recommend for anyone looking for some protection while forging.

Where to begin? OK, I got it because I needed to fill out the $$ for an add on, and figured if nothing else, it was a usable hunk of leather. Then I opened the box...HOLY MOLY KAWABUNGA!!! I don't know who Qeelink is, but I have NEVER seen this GREAT a piece of leatherwork for 8x the price. It has more service pockets (and well placed) than my denim layout apron. It comes below mid-calf - the length for this 6' amazon is PERFECT. Rivets where they're needed. HEAVY suede leather, well finished, no flaws. THe Straps are nylon and thick webbing. 2 "hammer rings" on either side of the lower pockets. OH MY GOSH...Do NOT let that they're Asian made dissuade you from this apron... I am BEYOND blown away with the quality, the heft, the construction of this awesome forge and welders apron. Blacksmith? Foundry work? Hell, Around the shop general purpose? This is the DEAL of the CENTURY.I may grab a spare, because they are so inexpensive (but not "cheap"), and so damned good. Except I can't see one failure point anywhere on this item. They really knocked it out of the park on this... and I am not easily impressed. Hell, I may grab a couple spares for visitors and students, except... they're almost too good for visitors and students.Hey Victor, and Lincoln, and all you guys - you should get these, reverse engineer them, because (and I'm not kidding) they REALLY pulled it off and did it right.Added 15 March 2022 - I've now been rocking this unexpected piece of badassery apron for a few years now- Know how many times it's failed? ZERO! I was initially impressed by the build quality and heft of the leather for a "Cheap Chinese Leather Apron", but oh my goodness, here I am, 4 years later, looked up my former review, and it now deserves --7-- stars. You can't kill it, you can't beat it, and you can't do better.IF you somehow think it will fall apart, then buy 2, but plan to leave the second one to your progeny.

So far I'm very happy with the apron, fits great, very comfortable and hangs well. Feels solid and pockets are in a good place. Adjusting is fit was easy and hangs well when not on.4 stars for a couple minor issues.A, its not brown its very much a rather bright orange. Really not pleased with that, but I have leather dye and can address it.B, one of the straps was threaded badly and needed to be fixed, the adjustment side was facing inwards (toward my back) instead of outwards. But again, simple enough to address.Would have been 5 stars for sure if it was correct color and build out of the packaging.

This is a nice, heavy leather apron. The leather is thick but flexible which allows good body movement and protection from sparks, heat, and weld splatter. I'm 6' 2" tall and this apron extends well below my knees for good coverage. The color is not a dark chocolate brown, but in my shop, high fashion is not the most important feature I look for in a piece of protective equipment. There is a slight smell on the leather from the processing. But hang it up in the shop for a few days and the smell is gone.

The top is so wide it folded out 6 inches under my chin with the straps connected. I had to move them in four inches each and re-sew them and then fold and sew the top of the corners so they would not flop around. My shoulders (6'2, 210#) are normal width, just not THAT wide. The apron is generous in size, the liner works well, it is comfortable, has no weird odors, and seems to withstand grinding real well. Well made, good construction. Very happy with it overall once tailored for an actual human being.

Absolutely amazing and well made! Did not expect it to be this good. Pockets and d rings to hang a striker. Shoulder pads came in clutch for wearing this all day. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND and I will buy another for my at home projects.

This apron is the only apron I have ever bought that fit me immediately after removing it from it's packaging. The only one that I have never had to modify the straps that go over my shoulders and around my waist. I have a 56" chest and a 49" waist at 6'4" and 347lbs. Yes, I am a big man who has been this size for most all of my adult life. Finding clothes to wear, especially clothes to work in has been a hassle for most of my life. For welding aprons I have had to modify every one extensively to make it functional. Not this one. I love the length on this apron and everything else about it. The waist snaps lock great. At 44 inches long it covers over my knees when I sit down, even. This is definitely the best apron you will ever find if you have had trouble getting one to go around your waist and shoulders and still give you the protection from sparks from grinding and welding. Oh, the 6 pockets are even usable.
