Qtx Handheld Dynamic Microphone Black

The photos are misleading. I thought I was ordering a radio mic that is battery powered, but the sound quality is brilliant. That's why I've marked it as a 4.

Wanted it to play bingo for older people

I thought i'd take a punt at one of these just to record some sound samples ..... didn't need brilliant quality, but it would have been nice to have SOME usable quality.The microphone is really pathetic, picks up more noise off the creaky plastic case than it does through the mesh.The (supposedly) noise filtering foam inside the removable mesh head doesn't do anything for reducing noise from air movement, tried a better sock over the mesh and the microphone wasn't powerful enough to pick the sound up through it.At the end of the day i may just have got a bad one, but i doubt it ..... not worth sending it back so the seller can keep my money (don't waste yours if you expect quality though !)At the end of the day i have a perfectly serviceable 8ft long 1/4 jack to XLR cable for three and half quid ... happy times.

Cheap materials used,poor sound

It works! Sound is ok, I only need it for dj/pa use and if you point the mic at you and speak in the top you will hear it in speakers. For the money (£4.70 delivered!) I would give it 5 stars!
