Thought it would be bigger

I ordered this as a gift for a friend. I thought it would be a couple of weeks to arrive. To my astonishment it showed up the next day! It's as described, about the size of a quarter and THICK! As with most rock or mineral there are some imperfections. Overall it's clear as glass and nice to look at. I wish I had bought and extra for myself! I recommend this vendor and will be buying more through them in the near future.

The optical calcite arrived in perfect condition and on time. It was beautifully packaged in a gift-type box. The quality of this crystal was excellent! It was clear with distinct cleavage planes. And, it was one of the larger and least expensive sold on Amazon! I am very happy with this stone!Thank you!

I needed a cube shaped and pretty clearn calcite cristal, such as the one shown on goldnuggetminers product picture. Instead I received a relative flat piece eith unfinished surfaces and many optimal inclusions. Not suitable for any optical experiments as indicated. Absolutely useless and a complete misrepresentation of facts.
