Q: Can i use at 15 psi in pressure cooker?

Absolutely be sure lids are closed tight. I made the mistake of having them a bit cracked and my liquid boiled out. Also fill water in pressure cooker as high as the water is in the bottle.

Q: Can these be used on a magnetic stirrer with a hot plate?

Some of the bottoms of mine are insanely uneven, but i have used them on a hot plate with stirrer and i have also used them in a pressure cooker and they have had no real problems so far.

Q: How do you exlain one of mine cracking from thermal shock when I added room temp water after being microwaved for thirty seconds?

Very poor tempering, poor quality glass. I doubt these bottles are really borosilicate. I’ve had the same thermal cracking issues. From now on, I’m buying real Corning or Kimax.
