I used this indoor/outdoor, peel & stick carpet squares to cover the plywood decking in a small 10' aluminum fishing boat. While the coloring is not a perfect match (that may be important to some) I could care less. I put it down for comfort & noise reduction... it's PERFECT for my needs. Adhesion wasn't great after sitting in the blistering sun for several hours, so I tacked it down with a staple gun. Problem solved. I would imagine that a controlled environment (indoors) wouldn't have this issue. I liked it so much I added a second deck and another batch of squares, and that was a really good match !! I'm totally sastisfied and reccomend these squares as long as you're not too picky. Like I said perfect for my application !!

Useful carpet squares. I used mine to put on shelves I put up for my cats to add traction. The backing is extremely sticky, to the point where when you pull the paper off, some of the glue comes off with it and sticks to the paper. This does not affect how sticky the squares are, however, but where the glue has come off the tile and onto the paper, you can see through the square, so they're extremely thin. The glue coming off doesn't leave bald spots, they're just very thin so you can see through them somewhat when the glue comes off. Once they're in place, they're great. No bald spots, they stay in place, and in my case, they've offered traction and comfort to my cat shelves, which was exactly what I wanted them for. I've ordered four boxes of them now. I will say that, at least to me, the smokey grey color is more of a blue/grey.

Easy to install and perfect for our needs

Ordered numerous boxes at once and about half that arrived look to be a different brand. That could cause an issue with color match. But color did not match within a box!Did not have any problems with backing not peeling off.DID have a problem with backing falling off ever square in numerous boxes. The adhesive was just weaker in those batches. These would never work on the ceiling.I did not expect much for the low price of these tiles and I got just that.

Perfect cover up

Yes, it's cheap. Yes it's outside carpet. It's not what they say it is but it does stick well. It's hard to get up actually if you want to move it, It just doesn't have the carpet lasting effect of what regular carpet is. I'm surprised with how well these have held up. The price is on the lower side, and I kind of expected them to need replaced more often. I use them in two places.One is on my catio shelves. The shelves that the catio-kit came with were just plain wood, and I found that the cats were a little unsure on them because they could be slick. When I added these they were obviously much more comfortable. So while the carpet tiles aren't outside directly, they do get damp often and seem not much worse for wear. I didn't use the adhesive backing, I used a staple gun to attach them.I also use them on a set of wood stairs that goes from my mudroom into the main house. This time, I did use the adhesive, which seems to holding very firm. The mudroom is where the cat litter boxes live, and these carpet tiles do a great job at capturing any last little bits of cat litter from their paws before they come into the house. I just sweep them off, and they look as good as new! I have yet to try to clean them with any kind of soapy/liquid cleaner and see how the adhesive holds up on the back. I'm assuming it will be fine, but I will update my review if I should find that it degrades the adhesive in any way.
