After looking at quite a few of the grilling baskets I settled on this one. It is great quality, very easy to use, and even though a few reviewers mentioned that the handle was hard to get off and on we didn't think so. We bought it to specifically grill veggies on the outdoor grill so when I saw that it adjusted to a fairly small size I thought it would be perfect. It has a minor downfall in that quest - one side of the basket is horizontal wires but if you flip it to cook both sides the other side of the basket is vertical wires. As you can imagine this is not a good thing for slender items like asparagus or carrots and the like as they tend to fall out once the basket is flipped. With that said, we will still continue to use it, like I mentioned it is a great quality basket, good sturdy handle, and will be useful for not so "slim" things.

This product is not good for what it is advertised. The handle gets really hot. You can't set the grill too deep inside the hot grill because it will melt the handle as you cam on the picture. The latch is not very secure and it might drop your food if not properly held.Also, to open the latch was a task, because it is so hot that you have to get an oven mitt or wait for it to cool off, and so will your food. I won't buy it again, nor I recommend this product.Since my just got damaged, I am stuck with it. I just bought a day before this review.

This is the best grill basket out there. It has a great height adjustment mechanism. You can position the top lid into any of 3 slots on the non-handle side of the lower basket wall. You can then position the top basket handle side into any of the 3 slots on the handle side of the lower basket wall. You can use different heights which allows for a "canted" positioning of the top basket (when you have different thicknesses of food to grill).The top rack is somewhat flexible. The 3 positions allow you to hold food from about 1/2 inch to about 2 inches tall.The basket without the handle fits nicely into a Medium Green Egg.Yes, the handle as shipped has a slip piece that is hard to use, especially if you are trying to remove/replace it when hot. However, I just removed that slip piece and the handle then just hooks onto the basket. The handle, without the slip ring works ok to lift the basket, then I just use tongs to flip it over.

Kind of a pain to clean but definitely a great investment! It pinches quesadillas perfectly. Tip #1: Make sure not to overfill the shell! leave about an inch of plain shell as a border because when smushed by the basket, the insides will spread and ooze out. The removable handle is nice but i left it on for my small camping grill because the handles stuck out and didn't get hot. Tip #2: I would suggest a pair of grill gloves or silicone tongs that can take the heat...the clasp to seal the basket it metal and goes inside the grill so it's obviously super hot. Have to have a plan so you can quickly open the basket because the quesadillas will cool faster than the metal basket will and when you're making a large batch, you won't have time to wait for it to cool. good luck!

I bought this because it was adjustable; I needed something that would secure thin fillets like Ocean Perch. However the manufacturing (or design) errors prevent you from using the third (lowest) setting. Only the top two thickest positions are possible because the parts collide at position 2 preventing you from reaching position 3. See photos.Also, do not let the handle get too close to your grill because it gets very hot and the plastic also melts.
