The sound quality is very poor. It is easily portable but if you want it to share sound with friends or family this is not the speaker you need. I purchased this to have sound for my Mac mini and the sound output is worse than the internal speaker of the Mac mini and therefor unusable for what I got it for. I will be getting something a little more robust than this to use instead. You would think that for the size of this speaker (1.5" dia.) that the sound would be HD when compared to the even smaller size of the iPhone speakers and the awesome sound output they produce, not so in this case. If you want good volume and HD sounds don't waste your time and money on this.

You can barely hear with this item, sound is very low

Hard plastic earpiece is uncomfortable when laying on it on a pillow. Cable is small and cheap. Audio is pretty good for its size. Don't know what will happen if I go to sleep and stretch the cable.

Plugged it in and little to no sound came out of the speaker... was very disappointed with this purchase....
