The grey wool pad would be most aggressive, the black microfiber would be medium along with the red foam pad, the red foam pad should finish slightly better the blue and yellow are mild pads for finishing but the yellow is the least aggressive/finishing pad

Yes you should be able too. As long as the velcro is in good order
