Great price for a good battery - A review from a pool guy
I own a pool cleaning company that utilizes portable vacuums to speed up the cleaning process for my technicians. For years we had used Group 37 Deep Cycle flooded Lead Acid batteries but found the our technicians would run them completely dead every day and shorten the life of the batteries dramatically causing us to replace the batteries every 3-4 months. THESE GUYS ARE HARD ON STUFF. Usually these batteries would be warrantied but it was a hassle. We also tried AGM batteries thinking they might be better but we had the same results. It just cost more money.Several years ago I started playing with Lifepo4 batteries on my travel trailer and eventually I built an off grid system to power our shop using Lifepo4 batteries, solar, and a few inverters. I decided to try one of my old Travel Trailer batteries in the portable vacuums our technicians use and IT CHANGED EVERYTHING. Not only does it lighten the load the tech brings into the back yard but they LAST ALL DAY.The original battery, which is still in service today, was a weize branded battery which wasn't available when I decided to start switching the cleaners over to Lifepo4 (I think they are now again) as the lead acids failed and I found Redodo. Weird name, fancy colors, and a great price. I gave them a shot and I am glad I did. We now have all of our cleaners running Redodo, and knock on wood they have performed flawlessly. My technicians love them because they can work more efficiently, and every guy that has had his "cart" changed out to the redodo immediately comments on how much lighter and easier it is to move into and out of our clients back yard. Are these batteries more expensive than conventional batteries? Yes. But they have so far more than paid for themselves in productivity increases (not having to swap batteries half way through the day). Due to the discharge voltage curve my techs have also commented that the batteries never slow down like lead acid. As long as they last more than a few years I will keep purchasing them!

You can trust this battery for critical applications
I bought this battery based on a referral from a friend. I use it to power my astrophotography gear when imaging in the desert, so it needs to be reliable and provide clean 120v power. Very happy with the quality and features.

Outstanding product, outstanding price, oustanding performance, oustanding support
I have two main uses for this battery:1) Emergency power2) Backup power for my amateur radio stationThe battery I purchased allows you to connect to it from your phone via wireless technology to an onboard battery management system (BMS). I love being able to see real-time stats on the battery, especially the estimates on how much time the battery will continue to produce power at the current load. The size of the battery is very reasonable given how much power it stores. It's capacity is AWESOME. This type of battery is designed to be light weight with a great deal of power-bang for the buck. I feel it hits all of those design goals. Battery technology has come a long way since I was last buying a solar panel and a battery.I am VERY happy with this product. It's price, performance, and responsiveness of the seller have all exceeded my expectations.I purchased separately a charge controller (also by Redodo) and a pair of 100 watt solar panels. I am pleased with how the entire setup works. By my calculations, if I have both panels in operation I can fully recharge this battery in a day.I also added an inverter to the system. I can hook that up to the battery and run a/c items (anything you plug into a wall outlet).I also purchased separately a battery charger...one that plugs directly into the wall. I purchased the Redodo charger. You can use other chargers, but be sure to get a charger designed for this battery technology (lifepo4).Don't forget the cables! Solar panels and charge controllers have a standardized plug. My solar panel cabling all uses that plug (sorry the name escapes me).I used Anderson 50 amp power pole connectors on the other components (wall charger, inverter, and connections to my amateur radio gear). Thinking about cabling and connectors before hand will go a long way to easing your system integration/construction.I probably went overboard on the specs for this system, but so be it...I'm an engineer. This battery is the heart of my entire "solar generator" system and to date I am THRILLED with its performance.

Saved my electric mower
I bought 4 100ah LiFePO4 batteries to replace the failing (failed) lead-acid batteries in my Ryobi RM480e lawn mower. The mower works great, but lead-acid was a lousy choice for batteries in a lawn mower. Lead-acid is just not equipped to handle the long, sustained discharge required by a lawn mower. After doing my research, a switch to LiFePO4 seemed like the smart thing to do. I chose Redodo because their batteries had been highly recommended in a number of reviews and because the company apparently communicated well and had warehouse space in the US.This proved to be a good decision. The switch was simple. these batteries were a drop-in replacement. They produce a strong consistent voltage over the entire use band. With the old batteries I could get only about 20 minutes of use .. and had to mow my lawn over two days in order to finish the job. With the new batteries, I did the entire lawn and the batteries were still at about 90% charge .. so I didn't charge them .. and mowed the lawn a second time the following week. The other major difference I see is that with the consistent high voltage produced by LiFePO4, the mower runs very strongly all the time .. and doesn't bog down in areas of taller grass ... the voltage drop in the lead-acid batteries made the mower feel weak after a few minutes of use.In any case .. I'm extremely happy with this decision and with these batteries... and with the long life of LiFePO4 batteries, my mower might well outlive me.There have been a lot of complaints over the batteries supplied in these Ryobi mowers ... These batteries seem to be a solution to that problem. Hope this info helps anyone in a similar position ...
