Does the lax20 work with sky q box using the SIM card ?

Yes. You can use just a SIM card in the lax20 or use normal internet via ethernet and the SIM card as backup. If normal Ethernet fails, SIM card takes over. Equally you if you have something like an unlimited EE SIM card you can just use that on it’s own. The SIM card bit is just a new way for your router to get internet, instead of something like BT or Virgin. Anything beyond that is normal. You can connect laptops, iPads, Apple TV’s, sky q box, Sonos, smart devices, anything that accepts WiFi. Doesn’t matter it’s WiFi 6 everything still works. New WiFi 6 devices will just connect better than the old stuff. It’s a good little router.

can i use my KASER LPDA 4G 5G LTE Outdoor Mimo Directional Antenna with this are the antenna detatchable???

The antennas on the rear of the device are for TS9 connectors (accessory not included). Does the netgear lax20 support lte band 20 (the only band available here from o2 and vodafone)?

The 4G LTE bands supported by LAX20 are b2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 25, 26, 29, 30, 66; 3G bands are B2, 4, 5. How many devices can be connected to the router when it is only using a 4G network?

The same as if it was normal internet. The SIM card 4G bit is just another way the router receives internet. Your question is like asking how many devices can connect if I was using BT or Virgin. It’s no different. The 4G bit is incoming internet. The devices connecting to WIFI bit doesn’t rely on 4G or BT or Virgin. Knowing that, the answer is at least 50. I can be more I think, just don’t have that many devices to test with.
