Q: How do you use this? Is it like a soap?

Great Question!.. it is a hard almost like a polish composition- firm material , but when you work your brush in to it - a wet brush is best and wipe your brush back and forth it picks up the firm soap material and then you can work it in your brush with your fingers to clean- it works really well!

Q: can this also be used as a paint thinner?

This is a solid cake of brush soap. It will not thin paint and is not intended to be added to artwork. For oil based paints, solvents can thin paint and clean brushes, but this product will not.

Q: Can you use this on regular sized brushes? Like i paint houses. So can i use it for my brushes n my rollers?

you can , but you will have to scrape some out- unless they are high end house paint brushes, you may want to use less expensive throw away house paint brushes

Q: Will this stuff reshape brushes too? I bought some cheapies off the internet and bristles are all over the place.

This particular brand has been around for over 130 years and their products have never failed a student or artists, yes, it will reshape brushes perfectly. wet, dip, coat and let stand, when you're ready to use it, just wash off the soap. Also, what kind of brushes are you using that fray so easily ? shop around for taklon, sable or just a better brush.
