Followed the instructions and it held for 15 minutes but just as I was finishing the job the plugged pipe blew as I didn’t appreciate the pipe was still under mains pressure. So lesson learnt - turn off the stop cock!

Works fine if instructions followed. Half a can is sufficient for 2 freezes of 15mm copper pipe. Tip:- To asses half a can, use digital kitchen scales to measure when 150g has been used on the first operation. I found that it stayed frozen for at least 45minutes with a room temp of 10degrees & the water in the pipe completely cool. Be organised & have tools ready. Do any preparation possible before starting (I needed to remove paint for a new olive compression joint). Have a contingency plan in case your job takes longer than anticipated.

Needed twice as much aero as specified but could be because papers were painted? Suggest you by twice what they say?

Good stuff, doe's the job all the time...

This bit of kit makes doing some plumbing work really easy by freezing the water pipe so removing a leaking radiator valve and replacing it with a new valve .

Does what it says. Pricey for multiple use.
