Well built and fun for big and small kids alike
I weighed this against the 3 rider version and decided, along with the kids' input to go with the larger 4 person one. I was not disappointed as the kids, including my 6'2 270lb 16 year old, had a great time. It allowed for several to ride at one time, and still had enough bounce on wakes to create some fun, and very photograpic, moments. I'd definitely recommend this and/or the 3 person version. These are well built tubes that should last a long time. The only downside it that it is large, but that is what you're buying.

2 Seasons, Still Works Great
Update 9 June 2014:It's season 3 for this tube and it's been working great. I raised my rating to 5 stars as we've had no problems once we figured out how to position to avoid submarining and we've had a ton of fun. I would buy this tube again.UPDATE 6 August, 2012:Have used this tube several more days for multiple hours each time. All my previous comments still apply. We're having a blast with this tube.Original Review:I bought this tube last week and used it last weekend. So, disclaimer... I've only used it a couple of days on a lake.I would give this tube 5 stars if it didn't submarine a few times.Yes, I found that this tube would occasionally submarine if the people on it were not positioned well. But, with just a few such incidents, we used this tube for hours over two days and had great success. We had kids as small as 75 lbs up to 150 lbs. and it worked well 95% of our runs.I find the exterior skin to be a good quality, thick nylon, and the inner bladder appears to be a good quality, thick, rubberized plastic.Sizing is a lot like rafts. That is, they say it holds 3 persons, but that's true only if they're small or medium sized. For me, three kids worked as did two larger kids (teenagers roughly equivalent to adults). You'd have a tough time using this tube with three adults. If you want to haul a large number of and/or larger people, look at bigger tubes. This one is, from what I've seen, a medium-sized tube.Side note: Amazon suggested various tow ropes to purchase with my tube. I did buy the Kwik Tek Airhead 4 Rider Tube Rope (Kwik Tek Airhead 4 Rider Tube Rope). Amazon also suggested I buy some additional connection components. I did not need these. My boat has a quick connect hook and this tube has a quick connect. The rope is looped at both ends and connected to the boat and tube directly. No need for additional connecting components. Conclusion: After one use I am pleased. I would recommend this tube to others. I would buy it again. I will be using this tube several times more this summer, so if you see no update to this review, then I'm still happy and my conclusions are still valid.

Great towable tube
We recently purchased a boat and decided to buy the G-Force based on the reviews here. I have to say we have been very pleased. It will easily fit 3 adults, but we have used it mostly with 1-2 people. After a few months of use this summer, it still looks in good condition. A few of our riders have commented that they feel much more secure on this type of tube than traditional tubes with the hole in the middle. The tip about submarining on take-off was very helpful. Our riders have also suggested spreading out your legs helps to keep it more stable around turns when the water is choppy.Only annoyance is that the inflation valve on the inner tube doesn't line up with the hole on the outer covering once it is inflated.Other items we paired with this -Tow rope: Kwik Tek Airhead 4 Rider Tube RopeAir Pump: Kwik Tek Airhead Hi Pressure Air Pump with Press Release (120-Volt)Rope has worked well, but started to fray a little. Air pump is great and helpful for deflating the tube so it stores folded up.

Great tough tube
We bought this exact tube (earlier version) in 2011, and we are just now looking to replace it 13 years later as the handles are finally starting to rip. I have 5 kids that love to tube and we have absolutely put this tube through the wringer and it has held up. I’ll be buying this same tube again.

Great performance, but a couple flaws
PROS:Excellent performance with 1, 2, or 3 riders. Just bouncy enough to make it fun/challenging, not too big.Good strength of materialsGreat design features (handles, knuckle protection, "wings" to keep outside riders legs from sliding off the sides, quick tie rope connection on front)The included boston valve is a nice featureThe colors match our boat. :)Great value for the moneyCONS:You WILL get the skin rubbed off your elbows. EVERY rider, from a 13-yr-old to adults has had the same problem...coming away with significant rug burns on their elbows. In fairness we are aggressive with the boat when we tow, but that should be expected and it takes away from the enjoyment when everyone is tending to their wounds at the end of the day. THIS is the reason I took off one star. The inflation valve can rotate away from the opening in the denier cover, making it a chore to fill the tube with air. I wish they were able to set it up so the inner bladder couldnt rotate around in the cover quite as much. A minor complaint overall. It will submarine if riders put their weight too far forward. Not a big deal...the tube is good at self-correcting riders. After a couple submarine starts, people learn. :)
