These are just the ticket for what we needed. We use them for loading the fireplace style wood stove we have in our living room. The longer gauntlet length prevents us from burning our forearms on the top edge of the fire box.

Use these gloves (for years) to reach into the Green Egg and handle the charcoal chimney. Also use on the pizza over.Very good value.

I've owned a pair for a little over 3 years. I use them when I load and (when I screw up up) unload my Jotul woodstove. They are long enough to protect my hands and forearms, handle the heat well, and even allow me to pick up coals - momentarily. They are also flexible enough to let me (or my daughters now) actually get a good grip on the firewood as we fling it into the stove. Highly recommend this product.

A little rough around the edges, but well worth the price.

When it comes to reliable welding products, I would highly recommend going with Tillman. I've been using their products for years on my construction sites for the welders and have not had any issues. The price is very good and the quality is even better. Don't go with the cheaper gloves from other Amazon sellers, they won't last and most of the time the stitching will start coming apart. With these Tillman gloves, that does NOT happen.

I like how they are long but they don’t last long. I stick weld carbon steel pipe everyday. The inside of the gloves started to pull out on the very first two or three days I used them. It gets annoying when i pull them off my hands and the inside pulls out. Then I have to struggle trying to make it all go back in the fingers.

I have long forearms. Very protective gloves all the way to my elbows. Good heat resistance. I can handle burning logs for a few seconds. Very comfortable adding wood to a very hot fireplace.
