The product in the dispenser weighs 1 oz. on my little food scale. I don't know how ac curate my scale is, but I would say an educated guess about the contents of .8 oz sounds about right. I purchased this product online when I could no longer find it in stores on the retail market. This is the same product I bought retail for years and I am extremely satisfied with it.
