Great in warm weather

The fan blows better and the direction of airflow remains true to where I want it (blowing on my chest, neck and head) no matter what I'm doing, compared to my rechargeable fan. The battery life seems pretty good, and about every two years I buy a bulk flat of AA batteries from Amazon, so they end up being pretty cheap. I've used my rechargeable fan while out and about, and have had it die and need a recharge. I can't have that in the Texas heat. With this model, I just have to make sure I keep a spare set of 3 AA batteries in my pocket. Easy peasey!

THIS is a very serious little piece of equipment!Every one I give them to looks skeptical, but puts them on because I insist.Then their jaw drops, and the next words out of their mouth are always a shouted…“WHERE DID YOU GET THIS???”Right…O2 Cool makes seriously well thought out, very effective stuff. I’ve been buying it for years, and it’s not always easy to find because it sells out.We are in the middle of an almost intolerable heat wave, and there are going to be more. I have given out at least twenty of these to friends, employees, and employees families.Once they try them I never see them without them again until the heat is over.JUST BUY THEM! They’re inexpensive, surprisingly lightweight, make a DRAMATIC improvement in your comfort level, and you will want to have them ready for when the next awful heat wave hits, because they DO sell out.Don’t forget the kids folks. Uncomfortable kids are whiny and cranky…Really, these little things are AMAZING! I have an air conditioned home, and these little things greatly improve even that, by forcing cool air right to where it helps you the most.Battery operated, I buy Amazon batteries, they seem to provide a longer run time, the price is good, and they have a long shelf life. Keep plenty on hand!

This little gem is perfect for this gal who tends to feel way too warm when moving around doing chores. It gives me a lot more staying power for the tasks!

A daughter needs to go to the doctor once a week. she also can't take high summer heat without getting sick, but she needs to take the bus to the clinic so in high heat she's stuck. I got her a cute umbrella and as a desperation experiment one of these units. The experiment turned out to be one of my very best decisions !! This necklace cooler saved the day ! She now takes the bus, wait and all, in relative comfort. I say 'relative' because some of our temperatures range from 110 deg. F. To 115 F. And with this unit she can handle it like a champ !!!
