This is by far the BEST light-up option I've found for my buddy on our standard late-night walks!!! I started off rotating through a series of the cheapie necklace-version ones (the ones that look like what we used to get at Disneyland for ourselves as kids), which were always a crapshoot... some glowed beautifully & brightly at the beginning, but after a few months time, they just never glowed quite as bright (even at full charge), and the full charge would last for shorter and shorter. Possibly not a big deal if you have a lil guy, but my sturdy 80lb (malinois??) Mix is an explorer, so we'll often be out for 2.5-3hrs at night, esp in the winter time when it gets dark so early... and that's not a time you want your "safety" glow necklace to die on you!! (And sadly, some of those cheapies barely even ever glowed much- straight outta the delivery box on their first full charge. But if you spend <$5-10 on a product that shipped to you directly from China, there's not much complaining you're entitled to, right?)But even the best of the best of those types of glowing pup safety neck-cessories could only last so long, and my last/favorite one died from getting a bit of water splashed in it- because the little rubber plugs that cover the USB charging holes inevitably would always fall out after a few months of recharging nightly (just to be sure we were at max charge & ready for the next evening's adventure).After searching and carefully reviewing the many choices out there for a more sturdy collar-type glowing neck-cessory that I was hoping would finally last longer, I was extremely hesitant to stray from the ones that were compatible with micro-usb charging cables, just because I had SO many of those already around the house for my phone... and esp because I have several high-speed charging cables (that are super convenient when you realize you somehow forgot to throw the glower back onto the charging cable when you got home the night before... and now it's time for your walk, and he's whining at you cuz he's really gotta poop, and you said you'd meet up with your neighbor for a playdate in your nearby park, but it's almost sunset and you don't dare leave home without your collar charged up!! :0 )But I found this one on sale for Black Friday last Nov, and was very intrigued by the advertised long length of glow time?! And since it said it came WITH the charging cable for the same low price (and it helped that the replacement/extra cable wasn't expensive either, so of course I bought a 2nd one to have on hand to save the frustration of needing one and having to wait 2 days for it to arrive)... I decided to give it a whirl! What a FABULOUS purchase!!! I LOVE THIS COLLAR!!! <3It glows super bright, is wicked-sturdy, and does last an exceptionally long time before needing to be recharged!!! Now, I Don't know that I would confirm it glows for the 14 or 17hrs I remember reading it said it would in the advertising description (thankfully I never believed that could be true anyway, so no let down there)... but it's CRAZY how long this thing continues to glow, and at it's full brightness!!! We probably go on three or four 2-3hr walks, then I usually leave it on my pup when we get home because after he eats his dinner, he goes out in the back yard and plays in the bushes on my lil hillside, so it helps me keep track of him ;) And know the battery's gonna last forever, so why not?So far the collar has only run out of juice and died on us completely twice in the entire 6mo we've had it... and both times we were already home and he was just still wearing it. Plus, the first time I actually first suspected that he had somehow managed to jiggle it funny and pushed the off button himself, because it just sorta went out with pretty minimal fading brightness first. But other than those two times, I just eventually put it on the charging cable preventively every 3-5 nights depending on how long he's been wearing it turned On in that time. VERY different to the others we've tried. (I also have some cheaper collar versions as backups that I keep in the car, or in my supply backpack for him- in case we're out and then stay out unexpected past dark... and this one is still by far my favorite in terms of glow brightness and sturdiness.) And the rubber covers that plug the charging holes (where water could potentially get inside and kill the whole thing) remain nice and tight so far! :)I also love that even when it's not on/glowing, it's such a bright neon color (my green one appears more neon-yellow in daylight) that it serves as a great safety stand-out collar even before nightfall! I'll put it on him any time it's either approaching sunset, cloudy evenings, roads with poor sidewalk spacing, or when we're hiking in thickly forested trails... just so he stands out better. Safety First says this Nurse!!Even now, I've got another one sitting in my Amazon Cart, and am daily having to talk myself OUT of just purchasing it. Namely that I don't NEED it right now, and i've got a lot of other expenses/priorities right now (including moving house)... but I'm still so tempted each time I see it- currently at that lower price I initially bought it for! (And I bet I'll end up getting a second one before this is over...)Highly recommend...!! =]

The media could not be loaded.  We moved from the well lit city to the dark suburbs and we are hard to spot on our night time walks. Everyone sees us and it definitely gives you a sense of security with cars as well as letting neighbors know it’s only us, your friendly dog walkers.these are BIG ROUGH dog approved and they are rechargeable. Trust me I have two Dogo Argentinos and they don’t FV&$ around. They say they are waterproof but I wouldn’t go crazy with water just cause nothing is completely safe. I have been using them for a few weeks and STILL haven’t had to charge them, THAT’S INSANE and grately appreciated cause ain’t nobody got timeFor that!I will say I haven’t used these collars on a leash. I will not ever be using these on a leash because I have trust issues and I love my dogs too much to risk them. I simply add them as a necklace on top of their actual collar and it’s as easy as snapping on and off.For the price, the brightness, the battery life, the colors, and the sturdiness WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR! I love these things

I previously bought a similar collar over 8 years ago. This one is almost identical. I love these collars. I have a brindle pit and a black chihuahua and I put them on my dogs when they go out at night so I can see them. We have a good sized fenced in yard and the collars are bright enough to let me know where they are. They work in rain and snow too! Mine usually last quite a while before they need to be recharged again so that is another nice feature.

I really love this collar except the sizing is making me a little crazy. I ordered a large collar for my 75 pound golden reteiever and it was way way way to big so i ordered a medium and it is still way to big. The way the collar is made with the lights ( which I really love) is not able to tighten, or if it does I can not figure out how to tighten it without breaking the light strip. I will put this collar on my dog when we are out walking at night but it will have to be over her other collar. The light is amazing and so bright. I really do love the collar it is just much bigger twice than expected.

These collars are great. I got one for each of my labs so that I can see them when they’re out in the yard at night. Anybody with a large yard and a dog that sometimes chooses not to listen when it’s time to come in at night will want to buy this!This collar provides a great way to spot exactly where your dog is in your yard. I have had to buy a few of these, which is not a fault at all of the manufacturer, because when my dogs wrestle with each other they end up chewing on their collars. There are multiple functions for the lights though and it’s awesome to see that even when the dogs are playing and accidentally hit the power button with a tooth that there’s two more series of lights that still glow/flash so I can still see them in the dark.

i’ve bought probably a dozen light-up collars by now. This is the one you’re looking for. This is the second one i’ve bought (first lasted fir years)this collar has 2 thin, pliable strips of light (vs most have one), they’re bright and consistent.Anyone who’s ever purchased an illuminated collar knows, the charging ports are where they break.Though it’s one of those random barrel plugs (vs mini usb/etc) it works great and has lasted. So did the last one. Also the battery is as good as it gets. Look no further, these (and their clones) are the collars you’re looking for.

Super happy with the colors, we have (2) now. We have a black foster/rescue dog that can be difficult to see at night when there is no moon. Also use it while camping such that others can see the dog at night while on a leash. Charge seems to hold for a long time.One comment is the small rubber plug for the charging port does not always stay in. Wish it was a standard connector versus the small barrel connector and specialty cable.

This is very easy to charge, and the battery lasts a long time. It’s quite sturdy and durable as well. The light is very bright, so it’s easy to see when it’s dark, even when my dog is farther away. Good value for the price!

Es un collar muy funcional, la carga dura bastante, el único inconveniente que puedo encontrar es que al llevar bandas led sufre arañazos y rascones e inevitablemente se va rompiendo, pero es verdaderamente práctico para los paseos nocturnos.
