Excellent quality digestive enzymes. Good for indigestions or help with better nutrients absorption when eating. Also an excellent mycotoxins binder.

I have suffered from "IBS", with chronic indigestion, numerous trigger foods, pains that last for as much as 36 hours, malnutrition and "food aversion" because of that, and tried EVERY significant digestive Enzyme product on the market [including lately the popular Source Naturals Essential] , probiotics [oh me....], etc and seen a half dozen gastroenterologists over a lifetime since teens only just now finding one good one out of the bunch of awful ones. I know every "pop culture" cure, fad, voodoo thing that IBS sufferers pass around in hope. THIS PRODUCT flat works wonders. If you read the ingredients and their levels/concentrations, it is a BARGAIN compared to other that completely leave out some enzymes because they can't be produced cheaply. The only thing Enzymedica Digest Gold + ATPro does not have [nobody else does either] I wish it DID have [I'll buy, Enzymedica hope you read this] is DAO, which is necessary to break down dietary HISTAMINE in the gut, and body-produced Histamine in the GI tract [a bad, bad thing for me]. [The science on DAO is not as solid as we wish, and its production for use is tricky and there are a few FAKES around just so you know]. But Enzymedica's product is literally the ONLY one I have found in decades of try/fail that actually works, works consistently, even at split-dose I experimented with. I wish they would print something about how long is persists in the GI tract, but that is probably so idiosyncratic in different individuals as to render all claims "DOA" so can't blame them.What works for me is to go ahead and eat some breakfast, and maybe a brunch item [i don't eat heavy], then take it and it will do the job essentially all day long. I am stunned - pinching myself. Full disclosure I originally picked this up in desperation at our best grocer in TX, on an impulse, not knowing what to expect except another fail. Since then I only order from AMAZON [yay AZN]. God willing I will never be without this [pleezzz]. I mean it sincerely. I still avoid obvious trigger categories like the entire Chili pepper family [paprika sneaks into so many packaged foods....uggh], I leave dairy alone though I'm not totally intolerant, etc but SINCE taking this I eat way more than I could before [still ghastly underweight but that will change now], go to bed without meds for gut pain - you get the picture.Fellow sufferers: you are doubting me - I do get it, as so many want to give me advice and I just stop up my ears and move on - I've read thousands of pages of real science on the topic. Just try it. Please, for your health's sake, JUST try it. Sincerely..And NO - i have never worked for Enzymatica, I don't even know if they are stock listed, nobody asked me to do this, I'm not a pro reviewer, just a pro digestive-disorder-sufferer - I know a LOT about that.

Has a funny taste. Not bad or over strong but it does taste weird. Works great. Love these. Sometimes food takes too long to digest on my stomach with fats or heavier meals. So I take these when I eat more carbs or fats than normal and it definitely help. Not a magic fix though. Portion control is still important.

So far it seems to be working,

I started taking this product when suddenly i developed digestion problems...it seemed everything i ate caused me to bloat, have terrible tummy upsets etc. I became a maniac researcher on the internet wondering what on earth had happened to my "i can eat anything" life...at the end of my tether and having tried all sorts of products i finally tried this and WOW....it worked!. I also take another product called Pancreatin (quadruple strength from solgar...this helps in aiding to digest any sort of protein like meat, chicken fish etc) and another called Lactaid (this helps in digesting any dairy ....just in case i'm out and i want to have a cuppacino etc) Here's what i do...whenever i eat any type of vegetables or fruit i take the digest gold about 2 tabs...religiously no matter what just before i eat. If i am going to eat any sort of protein (ie meats)..as well i take Pancreatin as well i just combine all the capsules and swallow all together. Also just in case i bought some lactaid to take if i have dairy. Ys ok ...at first it a pain but the payoff is incredible...i can eat anything and still have a flat stomach and my digestion works as well as it did back in my 20's. It seems that as we age our bodies produce less of the enzymes to break down food so we need help digesting food. These are all harmless over the counter products and will not harm u at all. I shudder to think that if i was just lazy and would have gone to a doctor..they probably would have me on all sorts of medications not to mention the tests!..I take these just before eating or after and as many times as u eat per day! Aso i find that after about 2 months i can stop taking all together for about 3 months but then soon after this i need to take them again. All i know is that i found away to live healthily and comfortable for the rest of my life just taking these products that actually help in providing the enzymes my body is struggling to produce (aging body...unfortunately this is part of life). If you are at the end of your tether please try my remedy...u never know it could work for u. I bought all these products from amazon . so remember Digest Gold, and Pancreatin (for protein ie chicken, meat etc) and lactaid for dairy products. Digest Gold does contain all of these put together and probably would work fine but after what i had been through (the terrible bloating etc),absolute misery..i didnt want to take any chances. Sometimes i just take the Digest Gold (i put some tabs in a pill container and carry them in my bag everywhere) and just pop some before i have any sort of meal. If all u want to do is Digest Gold cause it seems easier they still work wonders..i promise u they will probably work. They have all the enzymes to break down all sorts of foods...meats, vegetables,dairy, carbs....then just take these. The only reason i take the others is that buy themselves they have a high concentration than combined in the Digest Gold. I have gone on holiday and all i had was my Digest Gold and they worked fine on their own...just take more at once before a meal if u are still having a few digestion issues they wont harm u just help u.....Good Luck!
