Just what I needed!
Great filter! A little expensive but definitely worth it. Small enough to fit in my desktop. Easy to clean! Most people imagine a huge canister filter but this truly is a small filter for nano tanks!

Loud garbage
Insanely loud and a pain to set up. The hoses are extremely stiff, the lock sliders are very hard to use, it's constantly sucking air from SOMEWHERE which makes it squeak and leak. In short: this thing doesn't work well at all. Noisy ugly little thing. Not worth it.

Great starter canister filter
Only con is the price, or I'd get the best one! Absolutely quiet. Just remember to take out that little L shaped tube inside. I didn't figure that out till a month later. If you don't, do enjoy the constant gushing of water and air in the canister.

Requires modification to be quiet.
I had to replace the gasket in the priming plug to get it to seal properly. There is also a piece of tubing that runs into the void at the top of the filter that is SUPPOSED to remove the air from the unit while it works, but it never quite gets it done. I removed it and everything has been working fine for several weeks now and is completely silent.

It's not bad, just full of inconveniences.
It's a bit cumbersome. The tubing is stiff and too short, which makes affixing the inflow and outflow pipes within the tank more difficult than it should be. The filtration stages are in the wrong order--instead of flowing through the bio media last, water flows through it first and then through the mechanical media--it's an illogical set-up that will gunk up the bio media. I amended this by putting two aquaclear 20 sponges on top of the bio media. However, doing this makes all the filtration essentially occur in one chamber, rendering Oase's unique attachment for mechanical filtration in the second chamber underutilized for it's intended purpose. Cleaning the filter is an inconvenient affair, too. You have to remove the entire unit along with all of the tubing because there is just no easy way of disconnecting the tubes. And even if you do disconnect them, there are no shut off valves, so water will come pouring out like a siphon. It also doesn't come with the mounting bracket to make it into a hang-on canister, which is really needed since the tubing is so short. And even if you do manage to get the filter to sit on a surface, it won't stand straight--because the tubing is too stiff--it'll make this very lightweight filter lean towards one side. It is quiet. It makes noise initially as air is flushed out of the system for a few minutes, but afterwards it remains silent. I actually think the build quality is pretty good, too, and it looks good--it's cute. This one is tough to score, because once it's up and running, it's problem free. I don't recommend it for tanks over 10 gallons because it’s tiny but, serving it's primary purpose--filtering--it's pretty good. In fact, I choose it over any hang on the back filter—AquaClear (too much bypass), Tidal (skimmer not safe for shrimp or nano fish), etc., for tanks 10 gallons and under. This filter just comes up short in other areas-- short tubing, no quick easy way too disconnect the tubing, no shut off valves and no mounting bracket. The way the filtration stages are ordered, too, is a head scratch-er but it's fixable, I guess. I actually like this filter but Oase just cut too many corners with this one, making it too inconvenient to maintain.

Great small size that packs a punch!
Pricey compared to other similar products... but worth every penny!

This is the most expensive trash
It's pretty mediocre. The description of the listing wasn't very detailed but I had assumed it was for 60l based up on its name. It has incredibly low flow, and did not come with instructions. Instructions would have been great but hey, I paid for the cheap filter. Oh also it only comes with like 3-4 feet of tubing. And oase doesn't sell any tubing that I've found. Took me so long to get the thing running that I damaged it in the process (again, no instructions) and can't return it. Just buy the fluval one. Just buy the fluval one, just. Buy. The fluval one. Edit: a few months in and I threw it in the trash. Flow rate was abysmal and a cheap aqueon hang on back is somehow better. I'm not even asking for a refund for Amazon, I threw this piece of crap in the trash. Don't waste your money. In fact, just get a damned water bottle with an air pump in it before you buy this garbage.

Outstanding
Used it for a Beta tank (4 gallons, planted, CO2, 7500 led ), minor changes, used polyfilter on top of Ceramic (Biological) filtration, major difference also regulated output flow. Also the output was changed, inserted a 3 in section of spray bar tubing with supplied plug, prior to inserting I drilled more 3/36 holes in a 360 degree direction (12 total). Then plugged it into output flow (vertical) and have an excellent tank current minus the disruptive heavy current. Very Happy with this filter. 8^}

Es de tamaño pequeño ideal para Nanos. No necesitas cebar. Es muy silencioso. Capacidad media para material filtrante. Se siente de buen material.

I'm using 2 of the 60 on an 11g long heavily planted tank with absolutely no issues. It's extremely quiet and easy to clean

Filter works great. Very easy to set up, and it's really quiet once all the air has made its way out of the filter on initial start up (took mine just over a minute). Powerful enough for a planted 10g, but you'll probably want something more powerful for a 20 or larger. Canister itself is tiny, and doesn't hold much media. Flow through design is quite basic.. I feel like you're paying mostly for the name here. The only reason I bought this is because I can no longer find the Finnex PX360 filter, which was just as powerful as this, with a larger canister and more robust build quality at less than 2/3 the price. If I had the choice, I might skip this filter and try something else. But it does what it says, it's quiet, and easy to set up. Great for the 10g at my desk in the office.

Very silent, very easy to use.

I bought this because of the good youtube reviews it had. But it was a total waste of money for me, as the flow rate was highly insufficient to distribute the CO2 bubbles in my 5G tank. This is probably ok, for a 5G tank where good flow isn’t a concern. But I wouldn’t use it for anything bigger than a 5G and definitely not a 20G as OASE indicates. Probably best for a tiny 2.4G shrimp tank. Filter was sturdy, holds a lot of media, easy to open and prime. Flow rate is the only issue if it matters to you. Still giving it a good rating as it’s a good product. It just isn’t thr right product for my purpose.
