Although the price is high, I would like to call it a perfect ballast as:*Quick firing of the tube within a wide range of AC supply voltage.*Full glow of the lamp ensures high efficacy, non blackening at the ends as well as longevity of the tube.

Some products Phillips is Phillips if properly used.I have purchased this ballast to install in 32 inch panasonic LCD TV to glow its 18w single tube as TV has single 18w tube instead of let's & this philips ballast worked perfectly in TV for screen brightness.
