This unit excellent, but QC issues on second order.
I ordered two of these last spring. The first one was perfect and is serving me well in the room with 4 litter boxes. Whenever I scoop the boxes the machine, really does detect the activity and the extra dust in the air and amps up to a faster speed to clear the dust. Even though it’s in this one room, it has really helped the ground floor of my 2 story home become less dusty. And in most modes it is quiet enough that my cats actually like it and like to lie down in front of it. Strange, but I’m glad they like it. The feature sets are listed so I won’t go into those but everything works well. I don’t use any night mode, though, so I can’t speak to that. I just run it on auto and once in awhile use the ionizing cleaning. Much to my relief, there have been no weird burning plastic odors as reported with some other brands in the 8 or 9 months I’ve been running it. I did get a separate warranty registration in the mail because apparently one was omitted in the shipment sent to me. I found that interesting. I do wish I had registered within the prescribed period of time, but I’d put it aside while I dealt with other things and just let it go. The downside is that the replacement filter looks really expensive at $69. It’s an excellent quality though, and likely lasts longer than cheaper ones. Okay now here is where it gets weird for me. I decided I liked this filter so much that I would order one for our master bedroom, which is pretty large. And the unit arrived. But to my distress, it was put together weird. Seams were crooked and there was a lot of rattling noises inside. It didn’t look like it had been damaged in transit. It just apparently went through a very bad day on the assembly line. I turned it on and it ran. But the rattling noise was disconcerting. Basically it was horribly defective and not usable. And I was going to contact the sellers but then I noticed something odd in that apparently my order was still on its way. I was so confused. My name and address was on the box I had just received but the tracking number was different. And then my mother-in-law fell ill and we had to drop everything to take care of her. Meanwhile, as I’m on the way to take care of her, ANOTHER unit arrived to my house. I checked my Amazon account and only one second order is on record. And this third unit was the one. I have no idea why I was randomly sent a completely busted up unit. But I dragged this third one in and it sat in my foyer for a couple of weeks while I dealt with my family crisis. I would have assumed perhaps the sellers realized they made a mistake sending out a damaged unit and sent a good one, except there is no record with Amazon for that busted up one. Finally, I got a free moment from hospital vigils, so I pulled this third one out and externally it looked okay but internally it had something loose and rattled badly, too. So I set it aside intending to try and get all of this straightened out with the seller. But my mother-in-law got pneumonia and passed away. In dealing with the hospital vigils and her funeral, we didn’t have the time or the energy to deal with this. So all these months I’ve had two broken units in my bedroom. I just said the heck with it and ordered a Dyson for the bedroom during a massive sale. Meanwhile my original is serving us very well in the cat litter box room. I’m way past the time to register for warranties or get warranty service on the defunct units. I will just keep the broken extras for parts for the good one. So, basically it’s 5 stars for the absolutely fantastic working unit. But with a caution to do a quality control check when your air cleaner arrived and register your machines for warranties.

It appears to be working well
This machine is a very nice looking piece of equipment. For its size it is not obtrusive. The glass top covering the control panel is a nice looking feature as well. It makes a soft sound on low and even in the high position it is not “ loud.” No worse than a fan imo. As for air movement it works well. It is actually a terrific fan. The filter is easy to access. My only thought would be to have two hand holds on the machine instead on just one. One hand hold causes the machine to tip when picked up and I can see it slipping from my grip and hitting the ground if I’m not careful. I don’t think it would take a fall well. Also the two releases on the filter cover are thin plastic. They could become an issue as well if your not careful. It is impossible for me to speak to it’s air cleaning properties though without some air quality testing. I live in Northern California and purchased this to help filter harmful air caused by the area fires. I have great windows and doors that seal well. I feel that adding this machine does help with the purification of the air in my home. I never smell smoke and I don’t feel I’ll effects ( soar throat itchy eyes ) like I did before using the machine. I do have Asthma and I think the machine helps and does work. It’s only my opinion based on the lack of previous I’ll effects. I would buy another and my gf ordered one as well. Unfortunately the company is claiming they are far behind in shipping and are not the most forthright in communication. But I do like the product so we’re are waiting to see what happens.

Great unit with proven results!
We purchased this air purifier based on my mom’s recommendation. She bought it last summer because of so many terrible wildfires and she’s a bad asthmatic. This year, we had lots of house updates and since we live in a home that is 130+ years old and our daughter is also an asthmatic, we decided to buy one of our own. It has made a HUGE difference in our home air quality. We pulled up carpet, painted, sanded, pulled out tile, and it really gave us the peace of mind that it was helping our daughter not have to worry about her asthma. We also all suffer from pretty bad seasonal allergies and I can tell the difference it has made just from waking up without horribly itchy eyes and sneezing! It is also nice because we have it upstairs and it get so hot and this has a fan that helps cool off the hallway. It also provides a nice “white noise” so at night we can sleep a little more soundly. The functions on it are nice so if the sound does bother you at night, you can turn it to a quieter sleep mode. It also has a ion feature and a child lock as well. I also love that it is a small business that it is being purchased from and you can get replacement filters right from them as well - although we haven’t had to purchase one yet. The filter itself removes up to 0.1 microns which I believe is medical grade and covers over 800 sq ft so that’s good for our entire upstairs level. I am now purchasing a second one for our downstairs as we will be starting a huge remodel in the next two months. Thanks for making such a wonderful and reliable product!!!

It works great but the filters are expensive
It's worth the money if you feel your air quality is not ideal. It works fast too. Leaving it on in a 1400 Sq Ft house and after a day I could feel a major difference in the quality of Air. I have severe allergies and I believe it is helping but not just because i dropped a lot of money on this item but because the air generally feels cleaner. I don't know what other products do in comparison but this item seems professionally engineered with quality parts. Pulling it out of the box right away I felt like I at least got what I paid for just in the way it was packaged and designed. If you are considering this and another one that might be less expensive, I would just go in and buy this one. It's not worth it to be miserable all the time right? and how much would you pay just to get maybe 30% and potentially 100% better air? Even if you don't have allergies, the air feels clean, crisp and filtered.
