I lived in Japan for 3 years and was craving some instant ramen without having to break the bank buying a ticket back. This really hit the spot, but was exorbitantly expensive - $40 for just 4 bowls. You could have more than 4 bowls of real ramen for this price in Japan... but alas. The bowl is decently large and contains several packets. I'm not a big fan of ume in general so I usually left it out when making my bowl, which is included for those who like it. There is a dehydrated chashu which is surprisingly chewy and soft once warmed up, and the soup is to die for, if a bit salty. I tended to fill the water a bit above the recommended line, and I waited for 5 minutes instead of 4 because I found the noodles would clump and harden where the soup base would get tangled with it. Even with those caveats, the soup, noodle texture, and toppings were amazing. Would I buy it again? Maybe. Like I said, the price was very steep. But if I were desperate, maybe I would buy it again. Highly recommend trying at least once if you can't go to Japan to get it for cheap.

I am a ramen lover and this is by far one of the best instant ramens I’ve ever tasted. When you go to prepare it watch a quick youtube instruction video so its made the right way. instructions are in japanese so it can be a little confusing. Also there is quite a pungent pork smell that kind of throws you off a little at first but trust me when I say it all apart of the what a good pork ramen should be. The favor is rich, complex and very savory. The noodles are wonderfully chewy and hold on to the soup very well. Trust me if you buy this you will not be disappointed

Wow, easily the best instant ramen I've had. Great egg noodles, a legit chunk of pork belly, a bunch of toppings you don't typically see on instant ramen, and an insane soup mix. The real surprise for me was the satchel of (what I think was) miso paste and pork fat, which gave the soup a rich, deep flavor profile - and unlike most of the salt bomb ramens out there, I actually wanted to (and did) slurp up all the soup.

Delicious but super expensive. Seems not worthy to pay so much

Best instant ramen you can get outside of going to an actual ramen shop. Comes with everything you'd expect in a ramen bowl, even has a little slice of pork to go with it. Best broth I have found in an instant ramen as well. It a bit high, but being shelf stable and high quality it is worth it.
