Great Product
I purchased this at a recommendation from a support group I am a part of for folks like me, with Ulcerative Colitis. This was a product they recommended as one of a few things us UC'ers could do right away to help control our symptoms. It came from the SCD guys during their webinar one night. I've been taking in the hopes that it is helping my UC. I am not 100% but I am not as bad as usual, so, so far so good; however, the taste is very unique. It will take some time getting used to. I think because it is goat milk. I am trying it to swap out my whey since I am not sure if whey is good for my UC condition.

MIXES EASILY IN A SHAKER CUP.. !! UNSWEETENED..
Love this stuff. I have nothing but good things to say about it. First it isn't sweetened like other protein powders. I mix it in almond milk, all I do is put this powder in with almond milk, and some lecithin powder , kelp nutritional yeast powder and camu camu.. mixes easily in just a shaker cup.. blender cup... am not hungry at all a great breakfast This is not a large size, but it goes a long way.. most people use too much protein powder anyway. Just use a tablespoon into almond milk.. is really all you need. don't overdo your protein powders.. could actually not be that good for you if you use too much.. a little in am and pm is better then more all at once.. The taste of this is not like I thought, some reviews didn't like it. I don't get that.. I drink it alone with just water mixed and it is fine. but I usually mix it with almond milk.. don't be worried about the taste.. or smell etc. it doesn't smell like a goat or any of that..

Long time user
I have no idea what's happening internally but that is true for any supplement I use or have used. The taste is good. I usually add two scoops to chocolate almond milk. I had it a few times with plan organic cow milk, but found I needed to add a few drops vanilla extract and it was really good. I have used more tradition whey or egg protein you would typically find in a GNC or vitamin shoppe and found it would cause cramping. This production is much gentler on your stomach. I have read advertisements from other protein vendors and they claim most the protein is absorbed and does not end up in your toilet, from experience, I can stay that only about this product. My only complaint is the cost per volume. But, you can't have everything....

Pleasantly surprised!
I grew up drinking fresh goats milk and so I have developed a love and appreciation for the taste. With that being said, using a protein powder made me a little uneasy in regards to the taste and I was pleasantly surprised when making my first smoothly. 8 ozs of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 cup of frozen berries and 3 drops of stevia along with one serving size of this protein powder produced a delicious and filling low calorie, high protein smoothie! Better tasting than I expected and a good meal replacement.

flavor not as good as their whey protein
I'm giving 3 stars because I'm sure the health factor and quality are there, but man the taste of this protein compared to their whey protein is....much more goat than one might want. like it feels like the goat barn is a little too here w us. their whey protein is heavenly, tho, so I'll stick w that one.

Love Mt. Capra Caprotein!
Love this protein powder. Have been using it for years. Some have complained because it doesn't dissolve easily in water. If you warm a few ounces of water (not hot, just warm) it absorbs better. It has no sweet taste, just a hint of vanilla. I put in 3/4 cup of frozen cherries while it is still warm, stir that up well until it is pink, add a few ice cubes, fill my shaker with water and shake by hand. The cherries give it a nice flavor. It is not as thick as a smoothie done with crushed ice in the blender, but it's chilled enough to be pleasant. Can drink it faster, too. I use it when I am in a hurry. Always take on vacation to have the mornings when leaving early to catch a plane, etc.

Goat cheese taste
False advertising....this tastes like goat cheese...it's difficult to get down. I will try to use it in baking or cooking recipes - but this is not suitable for a shake!!

Easily digested
I liked that the taste was pleasant when mixed with blueberries. It was very easy digested no bloating.
