Q: Is this really 2 metres wide? Seems a lot

Hi, no it is not 2 metres wide but you need 2 metres clearance for the flex bars.

Q: are the power rods noisy ?

Not at all. Easy to use and quiet. No noise when working out.

Q: Will this work for someone 6ft 5in?

I am 6 ft 1 inch and i used this model for years for leg press only, i added the additional 50ld extension (extra flexs). It is good to have the flexs crossed over when not in use (connect to the other side), once you assemble you will understand, this stop the flexs becoming pre-stretched and weak. Combine this with loose weight/bench and thersa band warm up (shoulder) and mat exercises and you are good to go for all over non cardio. I really bought this as you can use for leg press as have torn quad, hard to get the else where at this price, but you can make better use of it than me. Enjoy, worth the price compared to bigger multi gyms.

Q: What is the total length assuming gym is against a wall - i.e. how much space do I need if doing leg lifts, including space for my feet?

Total length with leg extension extended is 220 cm or 87 inches anymore than that will be fine. I hope that helps. Happy training
