What a great little table
This is a really nice, sturdy little table. Construction is high quality and assembly is pretty easy, though I would suggest having a power screw driver. The wood quality, grain and sanded finish is beautiful. The drawers are good sized.Pay attention to attaching the back. I didn't realize I had put it in upside down until I went to attach the top, but I was able to disassemble my mistake and get it right in just a few minutes. The illustrated instructions are quite good. This is a good buy and a solid wood table that will last for decades.

Quality!
I have bought a couple products from these guys and I must say I am more than pleased! The wood is flawless and very smooth! Highly recommend to buy! This a pic of the 30 x 30 x 30 table I bought as well as the 24" stool for my kitchen, and thi little two drawer unit for next to my desk. All were pretty easy to put together.

Utilitarian quality
One of the reviewers recently said this is not fine furniture, and he's absolutely right. But it is high quality utilitarian furniture. If you've ever assembled or looked carefully at mid-level furniture-store furniture (which is typically imported), you'll be surprised at the intelligent design and manufacturing of this International Concepts product. I've built and stained seven of them, and I can attest to the superior characteristics of these products. And as a result, they are STURDY!Here are some hints from my experience with these products.1. Assembly is not that difficult, in spite of what some reviewers say. If you bought this stuff, you're already familiar with a screwdriver and an allen wrench. You may need a drill to start some of the holes which haven't been pre-drilled, but the screws that are supplied are sharp and can sort of drill their own holes.2. After assembly, be sure to sand it down a little with 220 sandpaper. It takes a stain much better this way. And be sure to inspect it carefully for gouges or glue smears. The smoothness of the parawood, right out of the box, makes you think that the entire surface is perfect. It often is not. So be sure to look it over. Once you stain it, you'll quickly find the imperfections!3. When I stained mine, I used Minwax stain. (This is not a commercial for Minwax!). At first I tried another mfr stain and it was terrible. Minwax does a good job. A word of warning: after you put the second coat of stain on, and wipe it off like the directions say, DO NOT apply a varnish or polyurethane finishing coat on it after the two hours dry time that Minwax recommends. LET IT DRY COMPLETELY for at least a day. You won't be sorry like I was.4. After a year or so, go back and retighten the allen screws. The parawood shrinks just a very little bit during the heating and cooling seasons, and can cause a little wobblyness. Re-tightening clears this right up.Of course, if you're painting it, the stain comments don't apply.Overall, a great piece of furniture, and a tremendous value.

this is a great end table/night stand
this is a great end table/night stand. it was a good price for the money, considering it is solid wood and not compression board or a veneer over cheaper wood. i painted the table white to match my bedroom decor. it took 3 coats of paint, but looks very nice. the box it came in arrived with a large tear in it, but the table itself was undamaged. it was east to put together, altho the directions were a bit unclear in a few spots as to orientation of some of the pieces. once together, the table is very sturdy, all the legs are even and the table is solid.about the only thing i am unhappy with is the fit of the drawers. there are no metal guides or tracks, the drawers simply slide in on another piece of wood with a plastic clip at the back to keep them from pulling out. the drawers do not fit squarely or as closely as i would have liked, and it looks a little cheap. the gaps and crookedness are a little less noticeable once painted white. if this was sitting in the living room or somewhere more visible, this might be more of an issue.overall a good buy and i am happy with it.

Some assembly issues, but very sturdy and a good bargain.
I detest particle board, but all wood furniture can carry a huge price tag. So I have become a fan of these Asian woods. This wood is heavy weight, and very sturdy. Some people don't like the grain, but it is fine with me. I have assembled many of these over the years, and they have all held up extremely well.Assembly has pros and cons. The drawers come fully assembled - Yeah! There are only 18 screws to insert. The hardware and number of pieces is quite manageable. But 3 issues. They give you a little Allen wrench which makes the job hard. I recommend buying a little set of hex bits for a ratchet wrench. Much easier to use, and a big time saver. Second, there are holes for the wood screws on one side, but not on the other. If you are using a hand screwdriver, creating a hole in this hard wood is difficult. An electric drill made this job easy. Finally, you'll get the usual, crummy instructions. There are things they left out that you will need to figure out.The instructions are line drawing, and there seems to be an industry competition to see who can provide the smallest drawings. I know they want to cut costs, but it wouldn't cost much to provide bigger drawings you could actually see, at the cost of 1-2 pieces of paper. So assembly had some aggravations, but the final product was very, very nice, at a good price.

100% hardwood and beautiful
When I received the tables I was completely impressed starting with the packaging. They were packaged with care in mind. I stained them and then assembled. Super easy assembly, although the instructions are pictures only. I suppose that’s a universal language no matter where you live. I bought 3 tables by the 3rd table it took me approximately 10-15 minutes to put together. The wood comes from rubber trees there is no particular board or osb used with these tables. I can’t say enough good about them. They are a very nice looking, sturdy product. I would definitely recommend. I believe they are worth every penny of the $88.00 each I paid
