I love everything about this sweater, It is a quality item and is perfect for what I wanted it for. I wanted a nice wool sweater that I wouldn't mind getting beat up a little from hiking, traveling or just a quick throw on. This is a nice wool sweater you won't have to keep in a glass case. This isn't a handmade Icelandic sweater - its marine made probably in China but, if you're wanting authentic you should probably get it in Ísland. Having a few authentic handmade wool sweaters, you'll likely not want to get them dirty. This item is a perfect and stylish item that you won't care to use. I like it a lot and I'd recommend the sweater 100% UNLESS, you're looking for authentic handmade - if that's the case, go to Ísland. Hope this helps you make a decision.

I wanted to get one when I was in Iceland back in May, but was put off by the sticker shock, and the fact that it is bulky and I only had a carry on. So to my great benefit, I found that I could get an Icewear sweater on Amazon for a lot less than I could get at their store in Iceland. This sweater fits great, and is warm outside, and breathable enough to wear inside. I was able to wear it around outside for 6 hours with only a long sleeve t-shirt under it in mid-30s (but sunny) weather. Then I was able to wear it inside the whole evening and never got too warm. The Icelandic wool lives up to its reputation. The quality of the sweater is good, my only complaint is that the long fibers keep falling out, leaving obscene looking curly hairs all over my desk at work. At some point I believe that will stop. For a sweater, it does what it's supposed to, the quality is good, and the material is truly unique. My only real complaint is that the sweater wasn't the pattern I ordered! I chose the black sweater (over the white) because I liked the saw-tooth pattern at the bottom of the motif and the overall design. However, much to my shock, the sweater that I received was the not the same pattern that I ordered. In fact it was the inverse colors but the same pattern as the white sweater. The pattern is what makes the sweater, so for that reason I couldn't give this five stars. Use the Icewear website for more accurate photo.

Fits well. The body is a little short. Second icewear sweater I've bought. It is very thick and warm.

It is an excellent product, but I was never able to get one with the needed features that I needed.

This sweater is a wool sweater , itchy but very warm I bought it for my son to go to Iceland in and he just wore a T-shirt under it very warm but also soft

Very disappointed. My wife's cardi was perfect, so that's one good thing. My jumper was too small which wasn't a huge problem. My problem is the $210 return postage cost i was expected to cough up to return this item (not to California where it was sent from) but to Scandinavia where the product is manufactured. Absolute rubbish. Double the cost nearly of what I paid. Extremely disappointed.
