Helps Warm the House
Very inexpensive way to help warm the house. The films really make a difference! It is a bit challenging to peel the tape, though. I found ripping it a little helps.

A great brand to use!
Weren’t sure about this as it wasn’t a brand I would normally get, but we no longer feel cold air coming in through our windows, I would get again for sure! Easy to put up, quality is great, value, functionality all great!

The wax paper back adhesive
I would have gave this product 5 stars but the stick adhesive is such an issue, getting the wax white paper off to separate it. Very frustrating. Other than that it’s a good product for leaky windows in the winter. I use it every year. Until I decide to get a few new windows in my home.

Solid product
I noticed a difference in my winter electric bill. I'd like to know if these help keep the A/c in amd heat out in summer. There's no mention on the package. I'd still replace them every year. It's doable for 1 person, but very easy for 2. My son and I did 5 windows in 30 mins.

Good Quality and Easy to Use
The package came with everything I needed (except a hairdryer and my husband). The tape was easy to put on and the film came at the perfect size for my windows. It has kept the cold out of our house.

Thin plastic
Plastic is flimsy, tears easily. Tape isn’t the greatest - not very secure on wood window sills (in an older home). However, the precut sheets are so easy to work with, to stretch across the windows. Not so great keeping out the cold - I wish the plastic was thicker. First time user, not sure we’d purchase again for next winter.

Stops drafts cold.
Its cold in the winter where I live and my windows are old and drafty. These dramatically cut down on heat loss by about 10 degrees in our house. They work great and are well worth the money in my opinion. Theres plenty of tape and if you know how to run a heat gun or a blow drier this instal couldn't be simpler. Have bought every year for about 5 years and will continue to do so.

I like the pre-cut sheets. Tears easily.
Hopefully it does what it's supposed to do, but isn't as thick as other brands I've used and tears easily. So take care when installing. Otherwise, pretty straightforward. I recommend grabbing a roommate, spouse, or someone to help, as installation goes easier with two people (can be done as a solo job, though). The pre-cut sheets are nice and saves wrestling with a long roll of plastic, but make sure to measure your windows beforehand to make sure the sheets are large enough.

Good, strong film that makes quite a bit of difference and is (relatively) easy to apply. The only drawback is that the way the sheets are cut can result in a lot of waste, depending on the size of your windows. I probably wasted a third to a half of each sheet. Also, the creases in the folds remained, which means that the film is visible. That doesn't bother me, but it may be an issue for more aesthetically-minded people.

J'ai suivi exactement les instructions mais le ruban adhésif double face ne maintient pas le film en place tout autour de la bordure, nous ne pouvons donc pas obtenir le plein effet de l'isolation. C’est domage.

TLDR: After using this product to secure my home, my energy bill dropped significantly I moved into a small 20 yr old townhome in Nov 2019, around 1500 sq ft. I was surprised to get my first heating bill (I live in Richmond BC, by gas via Fortis BC). It was way beyond any utility bill I have paid. A year later I decided to install this window insulation kit and you will see in my attachment that my energy used dropped signifcantly. To put things in perspective, remember that in 2019/2020 Jan and Feb it was still ok to go to work and travel so we were barely home and I had the heat down during the day; whereas 2020 we are home all day and needing heat as well. The average temp for both years were 5 celcius in January 2019 and 2020 with 4 celcius in Feb 2019 and 5 celcius in Feb 2020. Overall, I highly recommend this product to those who want to insulate their home better. Especially those that are older with single pane windows.

Have tried a few brands of this kind of glazing film - and this is the best by far. Best tape and best film. Have seen a rebranded version of this in the UK, but can't recall the name. Other versions have sub-standard tape where the film comes un-stuck quickly.
