These are the BEST for dog or cat piddling. Goes right through, easy wash. I have had my piddleplace for over two years. Works great. I latticed in my porch. and have a doggy door. My two cats and little bishon love it. Cat box and piddle place are out there and they love being outside and nothing in the house. There is no smell from either one. Got to love it. Thanks piddle place.

This product really works. The first winter I had my dog she stayed inside and used this exclusively. We were both very happy. Now that she has seen the great outdoors, she will no longer use it.

I have ordered replacement mats from other companies and they fit just fine. This particular mat I ordered didnt fit my piddle place.

I purchased this so I have two for my piddle placeWhen it's time to wash the piddle place, I throw the used turf pad in the washing machine while I rinse out the piddle place, and then when I replace I put my second, dry one on the piddle place. Then I hang the washed one up to dry.I have a small dog so I empty and wash mine every 2-3 weeks. Having the spare pad is very useful so I can just rotate the two of them and not worry about rushing to replace it. So far I have washed each a handful of times and they don't show any signs of wearing down, or smelling.

We have 2 small dogs and they are trained to go both inside and outside. They mostly go outside on real grass (we walk them at least 4 times every day) but they also know to use a fake grass patch if they have to go any other time. They can differentiate between grass and carpet and they don’t have accidents. Also, unlike potty pads, the grass keeps their paws dry and clean because they’re not stepping in their pee. We used to use fake grass from home depot. We also tried other pet grass from amazon. They all got dirty and smelly real quick. Our dogs almost always poop outside but on the rare occasion they go on the grass patch, sometimes the dog poo is not perfectly formed and it was just gross. This product is much better because it can be washed properly. We don't use the piddle pad system. We just place the piddle place mat in a tray on top of pee pads. We put it in the same place our old fake grass used to be and our dogs use it without any problems. I do think most dogs will need some training to use this. If your dog is used to real grass you may want to try other more realistic fake grass first. And then switch to this because the other fake grasses are gross. I have found that loofah mats are basically the same thing and my be cheaper.Update: after using this for a few years Ive switched to a different type of bath mat that has holes. It is much easier to clean. This mat has several layers and soft poo can become trapped between which makes it difficult to clean. It comes out when I wash it every week but I dont want poop sitting in the house. My new mat is single layer and I can spot clean it easily every day. And my dogs use it without any issues. I do not ever plan to go back to the piddle place mats.
