This pepper powder is not only smoking hot, but it is extremely flavorful. My family loves adding this to a little bit of everything from soups to seafood, to roasted veggies. I only wish it came in a bigger size!

So maybe I shouldn't have spilled a large pinch onto my hand and licked it off. Maybe I should have sprinkled it on some food and then tried it. Maybe I should have had some milk product handy. But I didn't. I licked a huge pinch of it right onto my tongue. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! In a word, "HOT." I have previously bought ghost pepper flakes and know how to regulate the amount by now but when Trader Joe's said it was a "seasonal" item and would be back in May, I decided to come back to Amazon for some. The price of Trader Joe's superior ghost pepper grinder flakes jumped $5.00 a bottle. Supply and demand. Vendors know what's up. So I tried this new brand. This already ground and smoked ghost pepper brand. I anticipated it to be hotter but this was holy hell on my bare tongue. I will say that on teh slight downside, there is a slight bitter flavor to this powder that does not exist in the Trader Joe's brand. But for straight heat, it matches or exceeds anything I've ever used. Tomorrow, putting it on food and see if the taste will be OK when it's used as a seasoning and not as a torture. At the lower price, the actual quantity is greater and so even more economical. I honestly can handle very hot food but I doubt after this that I can advance to the Carolina Reaper. No need to with this brand of ghost chili powder. The small bottle is $7.99. Worth every searing cent!

Second time ordering this seasoning. I love it. Add it to alot of dishes to get that extra kick. Great flavor with good spice.

It is definitely spicy. Don’t have to use a lot to reach the hotness I’m aiming for. And I also like that it doesn’t have strong taste. Make sure your face is far enough when using to avoid breathing the fog in accidentally. I did found some replacement at my local Indian grocery store that’s slightly less spicy but cost only 1/3 of the price here on Amazon. All in all good quality as advertised but definitely not cheap in price.

I make homemade beef jerky with a food dehydrator and bought this spice to season it. This is so incredibly spicy, the likes of which, you cannot comprehend!! The whole house smells of spice, it made everyone cough and sneeze for hours while I made beef jerky. It was so spicy, in addition to coughing and sneezing, everyone had a headache. This is not for beginners, and you should even wear a mask and gloves while handling this product. I very much enjoy spicy food, but this is over the top spicy! If your goal is spicy, this is a 5 star product, but it almost makes the food inedible, because the only taste is a burn.

The ghost chili was amazing eating and heating experience.The chili flavor was very good and the “kick “of the ghost peppers was hot but slowly faded to become a very good flavor experience !😍👌 Matt H. Sr.

I think this stuff is fantastic - I sprinkle this on just about every meal. It’s not over powering taste and not too smoky. If you sprinkle some watch out it’ll get in the air and burn your nose NO JOKE. Love it thank you
