They helped with grip. Unfortunately they broke after one days use. Repaired using the spare link but the fact that they supply spare links doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence

Chain broke while going on a hill. I was able to repair it using spare parts provided in addition to 30 minutes re bending all the bent links and connectors with a pair of pliers. I was lucky there was no damage done to my van. They did well for 4 miles prior, which is why I gave them a second star but I have little trust in them and am buying a different pair.

I brought to replace my old chains 8 years old. I am experienced using chains for access to ski resorts for many years and i did purchase the correct size and practiced fitting prior to use. Both chains broke on first use going to les arcs last week fortunately i had my old chains.

I needed to cross Austria last weekend and one chain broke while I was driving, I wasted one hour to remove it and I have damages under the front wheel cover, really unrealible and dangerous. Used once, trashed immidiatly, impossible to repair!!!!

The chain broke when they were needed most at the weekend in the lake District.
