Nice decanter that does its job in improving high tannin wines
I have bought a lot of French and Bordeaux wines that do require decanting, some of which can be drunk young if decanted. High tannin wines that take time to develop are better drank decanted, so you decant wines, not because it looks good, but be some wines require it so that you can enjoy the wine at its best. This is a high quality decanter, easy to clean, (including the wooden stopper), quite sturdy, looks stylish, and functional in doing what it was meant for.

Absolutely stunning! It comes securely packaged which I'm so grateful for as the parcel arrived looking like it had been dragged through the gutter

A light and well balanced decanter.
Well balanced decanter, simple plain design which I like, not the thickest of glass but strong enough and keeps the weight down, quite an open neck making cleaning easier, it I still use decanter balls for a good clean. Overall good value for a classic simple decanter.
