Awesome
I waited a bit to write this; just to be sure. This computer for 250$ was an absolute steal. I am still amazed at how well it performs. I have a mac mini- this mac almost keeps up with it. It is a tad slower, but who cares. I spent 650$ on a laptop from Best Buy just 3 years ago, and that computer sucks compared to this one. I dont even use it anymore. If you are a regular Amazon customer, you might just get rewarded with an amazing computer at an amazing price, that does what you want it to do.

Tiny issues. None unsolvable.
Nice clean machine. Bugaboos: 1. I suspect the screen has been replaced because the gasket around the cover adheres (sticks) and requires a bit of gentle persuasion to open. 2. Bought this specifically for Garageband app which, to my dismay, was not included. Pleasures. 1. Nice and clean 2. Seems to hold charge. 3. Advertised as running Mavericks, but is running Catalina. Yay. All in all, so far seems like a great deal. An IT friend will provide the proper version of Garageband for this system and I will have what I needed to begin with. Bugaboos were a minor annoyance, only.

it's true; you DO get what you pay for
I purchased this out of desperation, because my original 2011 MBP finally bit the dust. I knew this laptop to be "renewed" but of course they don't share exactly what was "renewed" about it. What I received was a dirty laptop that sticks when I try to open it. The track pad is barely functional, and yes I've gone to settings and adjusted it. I'm also stuck having to update things because it hasn't been for quite some time, and a lot of stuff isn't compatible anymore. My biggest issue / concern right now is the screen and the molding around it. I'm guessing the screen was replaced on this laptop - renewed as it were. There's damage to the molding, but also to a corner of the screen itself. I actually wondered for a brief time if this was maybe a fake Mac but it seems real, just been through some tough times I guess. Interestingly; I got a size that I wouldn't get again... just a bit too big for ease of transport, comfort on lap, etc.

Great Laptop
Works perfectly well, It's a lot bigger than i had expected but i love it! Very easy to use my only problem is it heats up A LOT sometimes burning my leg whenever i go on certain apps. But otherwise this product is worth the amount i paid for.

Won’t charge
Laptop would not charge. Problem fixes by plugging into wall outlet instead of extension cord. Laptop works perfectly now.

Laptop works great - charger was damaged, but the company refunded. Much appreciated!
Macbook pros are expensive and this was an excellent price given the amount of RAM and storage - the only problem was that the charger was damaged on arrival. There were cracks in the plastic that looked like age where and the block part had exploded. There was no obvious damage the box. The lap was fine and works well. It was confusing at first re: what to do because I had purchased the Asurion policy - and I wanted to keep the laptop and just credit for the charger. Asurion initially said to try to get the refund from Amazon and send it all back - but this would invalidate the coverage of the laptop or potentially require me to refund the laptop although there was no other one available at that price with those specs. Amazon pointed fingers at Asurion and Asurion pointed fingers at Amazon say it was due to their delivery, but the seller came through and offered either to give me another charger, or refund me $20 to buy a new one (I took the latter). In truth, the charger looked to be in poor condition on arrival and probably shouldn't have been approved by the seller, but I appreciate they stood by their product and gave me the refund. For me to buy another refurbished one would have cost me twice the price from Apple. So 5 stars for BuySPRY standing by their product.

DO NOT TRUST REFURBISHED COMPUTERS
I bought this computer in “excellent” condition and the screen and body were scuffed and scratched, it was overheating when doing basic tasks, and worst of all, the charger would not stay plugged in, and the battery life on the computer was shot to hell. It was unusable. The seller was unreachable, I had to ask Amazon customer service to reach out to them for me. This seller is ridiculously difficult to deal with and it’s not worth the risk. It took me forever to return the computer for a refund but it finally worked. Never buying electronics from Amazon again.
