I like the size because I can store yarn, so it doesn't get dusty. They are nice and resealable. I got a lot of small skeins and a few small cakes in one bag, and I still have room for more. It's not super heavy thickness, but it will last me a long time. Its not really super thin, just right for my purpose. I'll probably be buying more for the future.

I measured these bags with my digital micrometer. Got exactly 2 mils. My thickest freezer bags are 2.25 to 2.5 mils. Regular sandwich/snack bags are 1 mil.They're really very big! I didn't measure if it's exactly 5 gallons as advertised, but fits at least 2 babies.

12 large bags arrived loosely folded in another 2gal plastic ziplock-type, so I call that a win. They are decently thick, and sturdy enough to store large-ish lego buildings intact without tearing through on the brick corners, so they served the purpose I wanted them for. I'm not sure how well they'd hold up to high-pressure (full of liquid or food) or freezer storage, or if they would remain airtight if that were needed, but they'd certainly serve for storing clothes and other items while travelling. If I were concerned about keeping something hard-edged dry, I'd probably double bag it, but for clothes and other soft or round edged things one should do. Personally, I still prefer Zip-Lock for sturdiness, but again, these served for my use (put holiday things up until next year).

I really like the bags. The reason for my 4-star review is the fact they came loose in the shipping box: while the listing shows a packaged product, they came loose and unpackaged.

We used these to freeze 20lb turkeys and they work great!

Wonderful huge bags for large bags of flour and sugar to keep out bugs and moisture. Also great for beans and rice.

The storage capacity lets me organize larger craft items, small clothing items, and all sort of other items for protection. They are great for travel too.

Great size, but some defects. Purchased 5 cases for Holiday Care Packages for school students, and had at least a dozen split partially or completely along the bottom seam when filled. The majority were great, but I would recommend filling with light weight items only.
