Some brands that claim to be Kona may have just 10% of authentic Kona beans mixed with lower quality beans. Our best-selling, Single Origin Single Estate 100% Pure Kona Coffee Beans are grown in the shade of Macadamia Nut and Ohia trees in the mineral-rich volcanic soil of our farm in the Kona region of Hawaii.  The beans are hand-picked, sun-dried, and roasted to perfection on our plantation in Kealakekua. The coffee cherry is wet-method processed, which helps give the coffee the clear, bright flavor that is characteristic of 100% Kona coffee.  The coffee is dried in the Hawaiian sun before being air roasted into our unique blend.  Unlike drum roasting, which can yield a cup of coffee that is burnt and bitter tasting, air roasting results in beans that are clean tasting and highly aromatic...the hallmark of 100% Kona coffee.  Our Kona Gold Coffee Beans can be used with drip coffee machines, automatic coffee makers, French-press, cold brew, and pour-over coffee makers. Our medium/dark roast whole beans are classified as Extra Fancy, the highest grade awarded by the Hawaii Agricultural Society.  That means our beans are the largest, most moisture-heavy and blemish-free coffee beans you can buy.  The Full City Roast combines the sweet, crisp notes of citrus, raspberry, peach, and apple with tones of molasses, melon, clove, and brown sugar into a delicious smooth, rich blend. We’ve won numerous awards over the years, including first place in the Kona Crown Competition Division at the prestigious 2016 Kona Crown Cupping Competition.Don’t take our word for it.  Order a bag of our incredible Medium/Dark Roast 100% Pure Kona Gold Coffee Beans and enjoy coffee at its finest!

I like my morning coffee
I like my morning coffee. I am not one of those who tastes nuttiness and fruitiness flavors and other adjectives used to describe the intricate flavors of coffee, but I know what tastes good to me and what doesn't. I liked this Kona Gold. It was really smooth with no bitterness. I use a French press on the weekends and a Behmor automatic maker on weekdays and it was delicious using both methods. I used a coarse grind in the press and a medium grind in the machine. I make 16 ounces of coffee at a time and use three rounded tablespoons of beans. The only thing I don't like about this coffee is that it disappears too quickly and I can't buy it regularly.

This is it!!
As soon as I opened the packet, I knew I had the real deal in my hands. This is that famous floral, fruity bean w/ the winesap finish that I've treasured over the years. It is increasingly difficult to find these days, unfortunately. I am told that the highest grade beans are being blended w/ those of lower quality-- all Kona, but not THE Kona. You will not be disappointed by purchasing this brand. Est! Est! Est!

Perhaps the best tasting coffee out there- Full bodied
Perhaps the best tasting coffee out there- Full bodied, deep earthy aromas and a somewhat bittersweet tinge- but I can't state it well enough - simply great tasting coffee beans!

Kona!
I prefer a medium roast but these beans are very flavorful. A little goes a long way! At first my usual measurement was a little too strong for me, but now that I have everything dialed in, the flavor is perfect.

Great coffee. No acid taste
Great coffee. No acid taste, good coffee. Kona coffee is one of my favorites; sits, well with my other favorites: Brazilian Santos coffee, Ethiopian Yirgacheffee; Costa Rican Terrasu. All coffee loving individuals, out there, should try this coffee!

yummy tasting kona coffee. the beans grind well and the resultant brew delivers a most satisfying cup of joe. yes, it costs more but what you receive are indeed 100% kona from Hawaii. since my daily consumption is about three cups cost is not prohibitive. definitely a repeat procurement.

Love Kona coffee
Great coffee. Two day shipping was awesome I’ve now had the opportunity to have a few cups. It is a very good coffee. I grind just before I brew. Is there such a thing as a konaholic if so I’m it. No issue purchasing from this company again

Decent, not the freshest roast date
Both the taste and the bloom suggested they were roasted a while before the order and had sat around a while. A sticker on the bag said 9/2018, so I’m not sure if that means they think they are good until then or what. There was no indication on the bag as to when they had been roasted. If that was September 17, then they’d been sitting around about 4 months, which isn’t something I’d reorder when for the same price I can get same quality beans roasted to order.
