The Made By Me Mix & Mold Stepping Stones kit is fantastic for a fun, hands-on craft project. It comes with everything you need to make four personalized 7-inch stepping stones, including molds, ceramic paints, tiles, and assorted gems. My kids loved designing their own creations, and the 3D mold made it easy to get nice shapes every time. The paints are vibrant and adhere well to the tiles, and the gems add a really cute, sparkly touch. The instructions are clear, making it simple for both kids and adults to follow. After finishing, the stepping stones looked professional and colorful in our garden. This kit provides hours of creative fun and a lasting keepsake you can proudly display. Highly recommend for families or craft enthusiasts!

Our family dog was diagnosed with cancer and we were told she only had a couple of months. The kids wanted to do pawprints so they'd have something to remember her by. I looked at a zillion handprint. pawprint, and stepping stone kits and settled on this one largely because it was inexpensive and you could make four stepping stones with it. I'm not sharing photos of the finished pieces because they've got names on them, but they did come out really well. Once I got the hang of it, the kit was really really sweet and easy to use. However, there are a few things I want to note for those considering purchasing the set. -You get ONE mold and your stone needs to sit for eight hours to dry or you may break it while you remove it. If you're hoping to use this kit with several children at once, it is not going to happen. -Accessories, including the plastic gemstones, are in short supply. You may want to purchase extra if you're splitting the kit among several children. -The directions say you should not use hot water or it will not set. Hot water from the tap is the only way I was able to get enough working time to capture the paw print. -I used a silicone bowl and spatula for easy cleanup. I just left it to dry and then bent it and the residue fell off. The first time we ran through it, I used cold water from the tap and spend about a minute tapping the base to get the bubbles out. The stone was set before I tried to capture the pawprint. I left it to dry because the image came out well and figured the kids would still want to decorate that one. I used a Tupperware container to do the second one, but pretty much skipped tapping out the bubbles. It also set before I could capture a pawprint. I left the first two to dry overnight and removed the hard stones in the morning. They were good, but of course, no pawprints. That in mind, I repeated the process, but used hot water from the tap even though the instructions told me not to. I got a perfect pawprint both times and both stones cured perfectly. I removed one star because of the issues I had with the stone setting quickly when following directions. However, now knowing what I know, I would purchase this set again without hesitation.
