House of Andar Men's Black Leather Knee High Renaissance Boots

I run a pirate theamed tour company and we are on our feet for hours and walk more than a mile and a quarter per tour. It's very difficult to find durable and comfortable boots (believe me, I've tried) I did my research on these boots and decided to bite the bullet. I'm glad I did! they look as good as the picture, they feel as durable as a work boot and they are comfortable as well. The tourist are impressed to see them as well. Two recommendations though. Buy an additional insole (I always do this anyways) and wear thick socks (I wear two pairs). While they are comfortable, some of the leather bunches right behind your achilles tendon making it sore if you wear them as extended amount of time. I've found that with two pairs of socks, this problem is adverted. Those are not complaints about the boots, only tips that I do. I will definately buy another pair when mine starts to wear out, although they show no sign of wearing out soon. If you're in eastern NC, check us out @ pctourco.com

I am 6'1 and skinny so I have long skinny legs and they fit good, they held up well and were pretty water proof, If you want the native earth or turtle island boots without paying 600+ dollars for them these are very comparable for the price they don't look as good or have the molded to your foot feel, but they do work and are very comfortable, I am a yeoman guard at kcrf and okrf and we do alot of standing and walking, they held up great and were very comfortable to stand in. they lasted one whole run and I have no tears or anything, I do recommend removing the bottom button and just tying it through the eyelet. Also when you get insoles for it remove the crappy cardboard ones that come with them and replace with boot insoles.

I love these boots. They're very well made and durable, and easy to get on and off. They're 100% appropriate for renaissance festivals and historical reenactments, and don't have a zipper (important for time period accuracy) the size I got fits well and yet there is still growing room. I'd definitely recommend these boots to any of my friends, especially people big/tall people who have trouble finding shoes elsewhere. 10/10 A+

Price is certainly right for these boots! I have had many people ask where I purchased them and how much they were, expecting $300 or so. That's the going price for similar products in the fair, but that's also ren-prices. These are great!

My husband loves these boots! They fit him well and are comfortable. He did change out the buttons/conchos on the boots and shined them to his liking. He has already worn them to renfest 3 weekends already and have about 5 more to go!

I wear a size 10.5W shoe, so I had to order this in size 11. Naturally, the boots are a little big for me, but they are still comfortable. The boots are real leather, and well-made. I wish they would sell half-sizes, but I love these boots anyway!

Bought these as a gift for my husband. First event he wore them to, we were on our feet for nearly 10 hours and he said his feet were still comfortable! I will be getting a pair for myself soon!

Very similar to boots costing twice as much. So far they are holding up well. The soles are a bit bulky, giving the boot a clunky feel, but the materials and construction are beautiful. Well worth the price so far.
