Glad I found it here.
They have it here in Hawaii but at roughly double the price when compared to Amazon. So for the price of one here on Oahu, I am able to purchase two for the price of one here on Amazon. It saves me gas and needless wear and tear on my car just to get to the hardware store. I also save on not having to pay state taxes on any products that I buy here on Amazon, and that is a sizeable amount to which I can then apply this savings to buy gas (overly taxed). I believe that Hawaii has some of the highest gas prices in the nation, but politicians are going to close this(non-taxable) loophole soon! I just hope I can get my Vizio 5.1 sound system before that happens! LOL! GE/Amazon maybe its time to increase my credit limit! Anyway this lock and cable are very easy to use, just pull one end through the main locking mechanism and you are done. It is a pretty cool and handy device for locking down things that you do not want to find missing during the day or night. At least it will give you peace of mind knowing that what is valuable to you is safely locked up when you cant keep a constant eye on it. It should at best (DETER) any thief but if he/she/they wants it bad enough, a heavy duty bolt cutter will cut the cable. Deterrence means hopefully the thief will keep on walking and look for an easier target. I cant say what I am using my cable lock for as I do not want to tip off the bad guys. Silence is golden in my case. Overall a good locking system for the price. FYI; The 5/16 inch cable is much more stout than the 3/16 (I did buy both), but if your application can fit the thicker 5/16 cable then I suggest you purchase that one or a couple of them. Thank you Amazon.

Good security, and does not damage bike.
I try to take good care of my things. Areas on my bike are completely scuffed, scratched, chipped, from wrapping chains, cables, that usually are loose and sloppy. That’s where the damage comes from. This one allows you to snug up the cable for minimal movement, scratching and damage. The cable is also jacked in heavy vinyl.

Easy to use.
The key is a little difficult to use but other than that, it is a great product.

Great for a compact and expandable lock, but not super safe
I have a cruiser-style bike with baskets so I don't always fit right up against the bike rack were I could use a U-lock so I bought this. It works great for my purpose, I can lock to trees, through 2 bikes or wind it through my spokes and frame. It's pretty thin and can probably be cut pretty easily so I wouldn't trust it with a pricey bike, but it's fine for my $150 Walmart bike.

Works great
Works great but be aware not all game cameras are made to accept round security cables.

Great
I got two of these, I have a big nice cooler in the bed of my truck. I was going to infest it one of those locks for the cooler, I didn’t want to drill holes in the bed . So these cable locks work perfectly for the bed of my truck. I was able to run the cable thru a small hole in the cooler and again run in thru one of the side brackets on the bed . Put one on each side, works great and needs to spray a shot of oil in the key holes every now and then. Heck , if someone one really wanted to steal that cooler, they would half to have a pair of bolt cutters on them . It’s a lot cheaper than buying the ones that you half to drill holes in your bed of your truck. I recommend theses cable locks !
