Get the Polywood and stop replacing your furniture every few years
I took advantage of a markdown and I'm so happy I did, what a great price. Polywood is resilient and solid with welll placed armrests, and very comfortable when topped with a cushion. I put one together using the tools provided and I ran into difficulty with misaligned pre drilled holes on a couple of pieces in addition to extreme hand fatigue. For the remaining 3 chairs I used an impact driver (strong drill, probably overkill) and everything went together perfectly and of course 20x faster. They are HEAVY but I was able to manage the entire project alone without breaking a single nail. FWIW - 49yo female, upper body strength of a toddler, despite my limited physical capabilities I have extensive experience with construction and carpentry.

Best loungers ever!
These Polywood loungers are fabulous. Fairly easy to assemble. I ordered the teak. They are very heavy and cannot get thrown around in windy Oklahoma! Perfect by the pool for relaxing or tanning. The back has 3 settings to adjust for your comfort. No fading since they are made from recycled material. I will never buy wood or wicker again. Very sturdy and look great too.

Excellent Choice!
Very nice patio lounger in the dark green color. It is a solidly build piece of patio furniture which will give us years of enjoyment. If you want quality and are "on the fence" -- do not hesitate to purchase this chaise lounger!

Very sturdy, no rust, holds up
Heavy duty, no rust! Holds up very well in rain, looks very nice with cushions. Fully adjustable back (sits upright and has several laid back angles, goes completely flat as well). Very level lounger and I like the low set arm rests- I can reach over easily to the side table without the arm rests getting in the way. Bonus that they are low enough to the ground for the grandkids to sit on easily with their feet still on the ground.

Mostly positive, but a couple negatives
Nice, sturdy chairs that will, no doubt, last a very long time. As other reviews mentioned, very annoying assembly with the tools provided, but if you have an allen drill bit, you will be fine. My biggest complaint is that the chairs are oddly small. We previously had wicker chaise lounge chairs by our pool. These look so small in comparison. They will work fine, but smaller than I expected, for sure.

Awesome Chaise
I am very satisfied with this chaise. The material is something like a Trex deck. It looks good, it's strong and it's weather proof. I chose teak color and it looks very good. The box is heavy at just over 50 pounds. Assembly is about what I expected. You need to hold slightly awkward pieces together and install screws. Tools are included but there are some screws that are in spaces too tight to make a complete revolution of the driver. This results in slightly tedious removal and reinsertion of the driver in the screw head. Make sure you get the right screw in the right hole. There are 3 sizes of screws and instructions are clear and simple. Assembly took maybe 25 minutes at a leisurely pace. Once assembled the chaise is very sturdy and has a nice range of positions for the back. The armrests are comfortable and well positioned. Without a cover the chaise is about what you would expect in terms of rigid surface but not uncomfortable. I purchased a cushion; Classic Accessories Storigami Water-Resistant 72 x 21 Inch Chaise Lounge Cushion, Light Charcoal; to use with the chaise and I am very pleased with the pairing. The fit is great, with about 1"-2" exposed chaise at the foot. With the cushion the chaise is extremely comfortable. It looks and feels like a high quality piece you would find at a premium resort. The chaise has a great 20 year warranty which I doubt I will ever need to use. I appreciated that this company did not ask me to fill anything out for the warranty. Some companies try to make this seem like a requirement so that they can collect marketing data. Polywood invites you to join the "owners community" but makes it clear it is completely optional. The warranty does require a serial number that is printed on a sticker on one of the legs. I suggest taking a picture of this code or write it down first thing before assembly.

Exactly as advertised and what you would expect
I just put the products together and it is exactly what I expected. Heavy and sturdy. The only thing I can say that may be helpful to future buyers is the product looks like it was made from plastic, as it was, rather than a wood product. So, it doesn’t have that wood grain look. I Purchased, the slate gray color, hoping it would look somewhat like weathered wood to match a dining set I was purchasing ftom another manufacturer at the same time, that will sit near each other on a balcony. The dining set looks and feels like weathered wood. So the two sets don’t match exactly, but I’m okay with that. The other company didn’t have this style of lounge so a person couldn’t lay out face down to get sun. I would also recommend buying the lounge with arms for the extra money. This is a great product that should last for many years. No more spending $150 every couple of years for folding lounges where the fabric and frame gives out to renters use and constant sun/salt/rain exposure. Not to mention the time I’ve spent having to visit the property 2 hours away to find and purchase replacement lounges every couple years over the last 20 years.

Drill and bit needed.
Living on the Intercoastal it’s important to have materials that won’t rust. The hardware is stainless steel which is exactly what we wanted. The plywood is durable and will last a lifetime. With the hardware being stainless it is soft. You will definitely need a drill to get these strews in and be careful they will round out easily.
