I can’t recommend Scout's Honor Pet Detangler Spray enough! This product has been a game changer for grooming my dog. Not only does it smell absolutely amazing, but it also works wonders on even the toughest tangles. Love this product! However I prefer to dilute it with water. It smells amazing and makes my Standard Poodles curls soft and tangle free.

this is a good product that smells really nice too. I have a puppy that gets a bit scruffy and this helps keep him from being all tangled up

Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it arrived leaking heavily. I could feel that the lid wasn't screwed on and that it was floating in a pool of goo before I even opened the package. It's missing about a quarter of the total volume because of how badly it spilled. I think the bottle itself is ok, it was just lying open in the envelope. I'm not sure where it ships from or who all handles it from the time it leaves the production line til it arrives at my door, but at some point not a lot of care was taken to make sure it gets to the customer in one piece (literally). I am however happy with how it smells, which is a very light clay-like smell, perfect for my dog. It was really hard to find a detangling spray without perfume, so I'm glad that this one is as advertised in that regard. I can't understand why people would want to cover their poor dog in heavy fragrance, they have very sensitive noses and they have to smell that overwhelming smell on themselves for days on end. Really unfair to the dog. So this product is great in that sense. I will update my review once I've had a chance to try it out! Hoping it works wonders on my poor itchy border collie. Update: Despite my initial poor first impression of the leaky package, the product itself has been working great. I've used it twice so far (both times after bathing or rinsing my puppy after going to the beach) and it makes him feel so soft. After towel drying him, I spray it where he is still pretty wet and use a rubber brush (like a zoom groom) to pull it through his damp fur. I massage him with my hands as well to spread it through and try to get it deep into his coat instead of just the surface. He doesn't love the spraying part but loves being massaged. As he dries his coat really fluffs out and he feels so soft. I have been using a few different products on him to try to relieve his itchy skin so I am not sure if this product alone would be as effective, but he has definitely stopped itching himself as much as he used to. Overall I really like this product, so I'll add a few stars, but leave one off because of the initial packaging. Overall I do recommend the product, just advise the shipping/handling dept to take better care in getting it to the customer.

This works so well for Havapoo pup. It smells so good and really makes his coat feel soft. The comb glides through his tangles with this stuff! And he’s been a lot less itchy.

For my Maltese, this works great with getting mats out - it smells good! I learned the hard way - brush your Maltese daily. Do not keep in them in sweaters for more than a couple of hours; the rubbing against any kind of fabric results in mats. This helped with pulling apart and brushing of mats. No greasy residue (unlike coconut oil). I highly recommend! Use a brush/comb w/ super tight bristles.

Product is amazing. Does everything it’s designed to do and smells good. Easy to work with in terms of results. My biggest issue is the packaging. It’s a bit difficult to grasp the nozzle at times, the actual sprayer gets clogged all the time, and you have to keep squeezing the trigger for a while to get anything to come out half the time. I usually give up and unscrew the bottle because half the time when it does spray it’s not even remotely fine, often with a lot of dense drops. Still I put up with it because the product is great!

I've used this as a detangler on long Pomeranian fur with matts. It gets the matts out and would work fantastic if it wasn't for the strong scent. My puppy loses his mind and gags and can't stay still during grooming. He's very dramatic and rolls on blankets or fabric desperate to get the smell off. If there was an unscented option that would be ideal!

The cats obviously didn't like the smell; it smells pretty good, but it's too strong for the cats' sensitive noses.
