Peet's Coffee Sumatra Dark Roast Ground Coffee, 12 oz

This was roasted 3 days before I received the item...GREAT! Who is this seller, I want him, her in my speed-order file.

I've been drinking the coffee for almost 40 years and its truly the best. I used to drink it at their store in Berkeley off Ashby. I drank the French Roast but now almost exclusively the Sumatra. The roast is a bit more mellow and less bitter. Other coffees simply do not compare to Peet's. Do yourself a favor and try it - you will be a believer!

Bought this Sumatra blend as a stand-in while we wait for our usual coffee in the mail, and boy were we wrong to do so. This smells and tastes like cigarette ash. It's disgusting. If this is the quality this company allows, or if they think this tastes good, then they've never had good coffee. Definitely won't be buying this brand ever again.

I only drink Peet's Sumatra....has been my favorite for years. Love the company too. I've had 2 deliveries so far of 3 bags each and they've all been bad. I don't know if they're filling bags with an off brand or if the coffee is being left in bad conditions where it can turn, but when I say it's CLEARLY NOT typical Peet's Sumatra, I really mean it.
