Dr. Martens Women's Maple Zip Steel Toe Light Industry Boots Construction

I normally wear a women's 8.5-9 but since they weren't available in those sizes I went for the size 8, and they fit fine (I could probably wear thick socks with them too!). I got them for field reports and site surveys on construction sites, and they are definitely rugged and legit for that purpose. I also think having the zipper will be very practical for easy shoe transitions, since we aren't supposed to wear them off the site (to prevent the transfer of chemicals and such into the car and office). The insoles also seem like they'll be comfortable to stand in for hours. I'm happy with the purchase!

If there’s one thing to invest on, it’s a good pair of boots. I got these originally just for a forestry class where we had lots of outdoor labs, but how I wear them on the daily. They have padded insides and are very comfortable! My only advice would be to wear thick or double socks to break them in. I wore thin socks the first time and got a blister. Besides that, these are great boots

My foot leans toward wide, but if I get a wide, it’s too big. The steel toe does limit any stretching- just keep that in mind. If you prefer a very supportive arch, you’re gonna need some insoles. But, they’re durable, and I’m pretty pleased with them. Have received several compliments and was asked where I got them.

The boot probably fiy like it was supposed to but for me that was not a good thing. I am a 7.5 and, being there is no 1/2 sizes, I decided to go with an 8. I figured this wouldn't be a problem because sometimes I am an 8 in boots & with these being for work, I figured thick socks would help. However these were still too big for me and they made my feet look massive. I'm disappointed because I really had high hopes for these. I wish they would offer 1/2 sizes.

These are so much better than expected. They are comfortable They are heavy, but that was expected with the steel toe. I can still wear them for my 10 hour shift at work though. They look so good that I get comments on them all of the time.

I'm usually an 8.5 went with an 8 and they fit perfectly. I'm wearing them at work for the first time almost done with this 8 hour day and no discomfort what so ever. Loved the offical packaging and all too. Thanks!!

I would think they would fit tight since I'm a half size AND wide footed, but they fit perfectly. I also love the easy zipper on the side for easy removal after a long day, but the laces are also there to tighten or loosen the boot to make it to your comfort. Overall I would buy again!
