Beautiful, but Not Alexandrite!
Alexandrite is a gemstone with a purple, magenta and teal green color shift. This stone has a lime green, yellow, burnt orange color shift. I think it is probably andalusite. I am taking it to my jeweler to make sure. I do love it, so I am very happy, but I wish it were not listed as Alexandrite when it does not even have any of the right colors.

I think this is a beautiful pendent but mine did not come with a chain. I'd thought a chain necklase was included so that it could be worn as a necklace...

Carino, al variare della luce cambia colore.

Ho acquistato la collana 7*16, come regalo. La zultanite cambia colore in base alla qualità della luce. In presenza di luce naturale (solare), si arrossa, mentre è arancione con luce LED e sul verde con luce al neon (anche se non per tutti i tipi di neon). Affascinante, sia per il repentino cambio di colore che l'effetto cromatico legato ai riflessi e alle peculiari sfumature, di viola o di giallo, che la pietra assume in base al tipo di luce alla quale è esposta, nonché le combinazioni che ne derivano. Anche il design della collana è stato particolarmente apprezzato. Nel complesso si tratta di un ottimo prodotto. Acquisterei volentieri anche qualche anello, ma per quello mi occorrerebbe la taglia 8,5 della misura americana, che corrisponderebbe alla taglia 18,5 della misura francese.
