Deluxe Rip-Stop, Reinforced Camping Tarp

This review will be subject to change after a few outing's. A little thinner than i expected, tho i am used to cheap poly tarp's that the SC sun shred's, and heavy Chicago canvas ( which rotted in short order in SC humidity ), that said i will update in the future as to how this hold's up, as i am a hardcore bushcrafter. At first inspection sewing seem's to be top notch, the tie out's seem to be very strong ( usually the weak point in a tarp ), good even coating on the back side, and nice reinforcement's around the perimeter, and down the center. We will see how their nylon, and ''coating'' hold's up to the brutal sun we have down here.Looking back already I would recommend ordering from Kondos Outdoors direct, as i now see they offer more features, such as a Center Reinforcement Patch, Pole Loops (in center), Tarp Center Loop Lift , and Lightweight Stuff Bag as they offer no such option's on Amazon.

Bought this to go along with my Skeeter Beater Hammock. It was a tossup between this or an Aquaquest "The Guide" Silnylon tarp. I had no experience with either. I decided to go with this one based on the photographs of all the tie off points, the ridgeline nylon strap running down the center, and this one is made of heavier ripstop nylon, also this one just seems to look bombproof. I live in Louisiana where we get some pretty bad storms, and need something that will stand up to high wind conditions without getting me soaked. My first impressions of this tarp are all positive. It is as well made as it looks in the photos. I love this tarp and do not regret my decision to get it. It arrived quickly via USPS. Folds down small and is lightweight.

Very well made tarp.If you go to the manufacturer's web site you can get other options such as tie down loops on the top ridge line, but the way I use it that wasn't important to me. There are enough along the perimeters to work for me.I like that it is made in the USA, and very well made too.

This tarp is bomb proof! If you don't mind the 2.5 lbs you wont find a better shelter. I've searched the net hard.

This is a great tarp that can be shoved into a small stuff sack. I'll most likely order a second.

A little pricey but worth the $$ if you are looking for a light wt tarp that will last

Great shelter outdoors. Withstands wind , rain with no issues. Light wt flexible easy to set up.

Very high quality. Looking forward to testing it in the field.
