Powermat Receiver Door for HTC EVO 4G

Arrived quickly and works. It was exactly as described. It is still working months later. I would purchase from this vendor again.

It broke after about a week of using it. I would recommend not getting it. Also charges much slower than actually using a charger.

The powermat is an efficient recharger for your mobile and many other rechargables (ipod, etc.). It stops charging when the item is fully charged. This supposedly extends the battery life. The catch is the powermat is one purchase and if it's for a mobile phone you must purchase a receiver for the phone. The receiver is a back to the phone which replaces the one that came with the phone. They are not included in the powermat because the back of each phone is different. You should check the powermat.com site to make certain your mobile phone has a receiver back and will charge in this fashion before spending the money for the charging mat.

Great if you have a powermatt and love technology, fits great and works perfect, practically the same size as ordinary cover

This is not as good as advertised and seldomed woorked for my phone. I would not reccomend it to anyone.

The first Receiver door I bought was DOA. Returning it to Amazon was a breeze and the replacement door worked fine. This is a problem with the Powermat doors for Evo. I bought doors for my daughter's Evo as well as her fiance for Xmas. One worked one did not. A co-worker also bought a door from Best Buy and had the same issue. Also the little tether that keeps your plugs attached to the door very easily snaps off if not careful. Over all the convenience of charging your phones just by dropping them on a mat well out ways the issues we've had.

Use this a lot as it saves plugging in and ruining the hole for the recharger cord. Phone battery seems to be overheated and phone repeatedly reboots after charging, so I have to remove the battery until it cools off. But still useful.

Originally when I bought these I was a bit on the fence and had mixed feelings about this case, but after going through three that were junk I have come to the conclusion they are utter crap.Both my wife and I have EVOs and both bought our Receiver Doors together at Best Buy. Mine worked just fine, but hers only worked the first time we placed it on the mat. After she took it off to use it and placed it back on to charge, it makes the sound that it connects, but it won't charge. I swapped the doors and placed hers on my phone and it wouldn't charge, but my door on her phone worked and so we ruled out the phone as being the problem. We exchanged hers for a new one and it worked for just over a day and shortly after her replacement died mine crapped out on me too. We ended up just calling it a loss and got our money back for the two. I will just stick to the multi-tip attachment my Powermat came with as a quick fix for a charge if my original charger is not available.
