Listen up!
Hello all! 1.) This vacuum was rumored to not function or spin on the carpet. My vacuum has proven this false. The brush spins perfectly on the carpet without difficulty. I use it to clean the carpets in my bedroom, and the predominant hard wood flooring prominent through my home. I can use it in the bathroom, the kitchen, the living/dining/family room, pretty much everywhere! 2.) This vacuum is highly versatile and super light. It feels like a 33.8oz bottle of shampoo in my hand to me. It does not take anything off of me to use it and it reaches some of the most cumbersome and pesky areas with no effort. I was able to throw out my broom thanks to this. 3.) I could take this vacuum with me on travelling trips, whether domestic or European trips. it has become a commonality in my household cleaning. I'm obsessed with it! I know I shouldn't be but it is just so easy to clean! The versatile 16-28inch adjustable bar would allow me to stick it in my biggest purse, overnight bag, or carry-on suitcase. I love the contemporary feeling it has, it's not something I would just leave at home stuck in a closet. I will never use another upright vacuum in my life (this is my first stick cyclone vacuum.) 4.) I did not realize that the "this package arrives in revealing packaging" message was a reality, it literally arrived in the IWOLY box with no cover on it whatsoever. If you are going to be a while before collecting this package, I recommend choosing "ship in Amazon packaging". I had an advantage due to having a gated home, but if you don't, ship it Amazon style. 5.) There is no dramatic rolling up the cord. It does not have an area to clip the cord to the vacuum, and I appreciate that. My back would tend to hurt and have pressure at the shaft of my spine thanks to bending over to roll up a 28-33ft cord on my upright vacuum. I vacuum every day sometimes twice so most of the time I wouldn't even bother rolling up the cord. This vacuum was on sale to me for $41.68. The value of this vacuum for the price was unprecedented. I highly recommend and I love my new vacuum, I hope you will too!

Update: Light, quiet, powerful, but breaks.
Updated: plastic neck broke after 9 months on 2 models. Very brittle plastic. Unfortunate........Great product and a great pricepoint. I'm happy I went with corded because I like to thoroughly vacuum and the 25min run time of virtually all stick vacuums would have been so annoying. I have 600sq ft apt and a medium sized dog. This is excellent for that combination. Amazingly light. Some reviews said it doesn't work well on carpet... I'm wondering if they have shag rugs because this works extremely well on the rugs I have. Even works well on the bathroom rugs that are shag-like microfiber with 1.5 inch height. Would recommend for anyone not willing to Shell out an arm and a leg for a decent vacuum.

This IWoly is a great choice
This corner of the vacuum market has historically been saturated with infuriatingly ineffective pieces of colorful future-trash whose massive suckage was entirely figurative rather than practical. I refused to own one for the past 10 years following a violent breakup with a certain devilish machine. I have a Kirby where you can turn off the brush to do bare floor and rugs, and I prefer to do work manually in general. However I now have 5 children, including 4 young boys and somehow bought a house in a location gravity seems to have a stronger effect, leading to a constant layer of debris landing on the wood, tile, and rugs combined with less time to clean. Grodie. In comes iWoly. I had low expectations and bought a microfiber dustmop/mop setup at the same time. I have been amazed at this minibeast! It really sucks! I haven't used the dustmop kit at all. I do the bare floors and the rugs and its amazing. I was actually thinking about getting a second to put away for when this dies in case the company gets bought out and wrecked. One thing I wish was different was the filter-I wish there was a washable filter because I go through the paper ones very quickly, but I have a huge family filled with broken x chromosomes so ymmv. The other thing was the power switch on mine failed after a couple months. However, my regular vacuum repair place was able to replace it quickly and cheaply; turns out only one company makes those switches for all vacuums. Its completely possible one of my kids dropped the machine or something that I didn't see but it stopped working in the middle of me using it; turned it off to pick up a toy and didn't turn back on. Even if this was an inherent defect, I don't care, this vacuum actually kicks butt and was worth the extra $10 or whatev to fix the switch. I would definitely recommend.

I never write reviews but think this item is great
I'm vacuuming more than ever before because it's so easy. Pros: it's lightweight, easy to maneuver. I removed the brush from the floor attachment and just use it on my tile and wood floors. In this it excels. It's much easier than sweeping or a dust mop. I can pick up things off the area rugs too like crumbs and pebbles/sand but it's really not good for trying to deep clean a rug. It's perfect for flat surface and baseboards, door casings etc. Emptying design is just perfect. No mess! It is compact for storage as well. Cons: it's NOT for rugs- doesn't do very well at all and that's why I removed the beater brush inside the floor attachment. But I didn't buy it for that. I wanted something to get all the small debris from my hardwood and tile floors and it does it easily. I wish it had a slightly longer cord but that's solved with an extension cord. I did not want a cordless as I really have no faith in the battery designs. They all fail after a while. I'm also tall (6') and I found the length of the tube a bit short. Easily solved by using an old vacuum tube extension- it fit perfectly and now I'm not stooping to vacuum. I would highly recommend this product if you need something for hardwood or tile. I would recommend removing the beater brush as well. Works much better without it.

Pretty handy and affordable vacuum cleaner that simply does the job! it's extremely lightweight and easy to handle. I like the fact that it's not battery operated so you get the full suction power all the time. From past experiences, battery operated lightweight vacuums lose their suction power after 15 to 30 minutes of usage time and then you have to recharge it. The cable is a bit short but you can always add an extension if you don't want to plug it and unplug it depending on your cleaning area. It also comes with two attachments and a wall hook that you can attach the vacuum on with the attachments. It's pretty easy to clean as well. So far I'm happy with this vacuum cleaner and using it almost on the daily

Easy to use, good suction, visually appealing but the vaccum died in 6 months. Not sure how I can get the warranty claim or get it fixed.

Was truly excited about using this vacuum and not having to lug around my old machine. First off suction and cleaning on carpets is marginal at best, I tried cleaning the carpets in my house and found this machine to be sorely lacking in suction and thus ability to clean properly. I found myself going over the same spot numerous times just to pick up tiny pieces of fluff etc. I can't imagine someone with a pet or kids trying to clean with this, as I don't imagine it will pick up hair or spilled cereal. On the plus side it seemed to work okay on my marble floors, and it was easy to maneuver, even for me and I'm a 6'4" 320 pound bodybuilder. I think an actual power head and more suction power would be a huge plus for this machine, but for $99.95 what do you expect.

I've been using it for only 4 months and it was a decent little vacuum it still has great suction but there is a short in the wire and it shuts off while in the middle of vacuuming.

It's reliable, cheap and light weight vacuum cleaner. Thanks to Amazon for availing spare HEPA filters for this at an added cost. I liked wired vacuum cleaner, never runs out of power, cable is long enough for a room. I empty its bin 2 times in a single use. I'm also able to vacuum rug and carpet and it works good on them too. Long hairs gets easily jammed in its floor brush rotor. After every use, I open, clean rotor and also its bearings in both sides. Bearings are accessible when you pull the black caps in the ends. Cleaning bearings and rotor is must if you expect the full performance otherwise the rotor will jam and cleaning wouldn't be very effective. Altogether a good one for the price.
