Thirteen Chefs Chopping Board Oil - Food Grade Mineral Oil for Chopping Boards, Cutting Boards, Granite, Worktops and Wood or Bamboo Butcher Blocks

We bought this oil to replenish our butcher's block worktops which had sadly been neglected by the previous owners tenants. It's easy to apply and 2 months later us still doing an excellent job of repelling water etc. We will need to go over them again but this oil has saved us thousands of pounds already.

This stuff makes everything look like new! Seriously, from wood to rubber, stainless steel to even hard plastic. I just love this and my first use but will never be without again! Do not hesitate to buy - I am a perfectionist (quite sick, actually ;-)) and cleanliness another sickness I have. So believe me, this stuff made my day!

Goes a long way

'Food safe' is the most important feature here. Great for people making chopping boards or wooden kitchen utensils. A really neutral finish so just enhances the natural wood rather than stain it. Definitely use in a well ventilated area as it has quite the 'kick' to it.

Gives great results. Bought to revive the wood grain in a chopping board then got carried away with other boards, knife handles and even a wooden chess set. Began wiping it in with a cloth but ended up just using my bare fingers. Leaves a nice attractive sheen to bare wood.

I have had a wooden work top for the last 20 years and keeping up to it is pure hard work, not any more this stuff is magic. It took me around a week to complete the work tops, large kitchen and the tops were very thirsty, but woow, no sanding and waiting and sanding. Just keep applying until its soaked in and then compliment it periodically with the conditioning. Instructions say repeat every few months to keep in top shape. It's a doodle to apply. My kitchen tops now look shiny an cared for. Would highly recommend.

I had really tired looking wooden eggcups, serving spoons and chopping boards and this oil worked a treat at reviving them. It’s easy to apply, soaks in well and seems to remain in the grain of the wood despite regular use and washing. Definitely recommend.

This mineral oil worked perfectly for my new teak cutting board. Makes it easy to clean up the board with just a damp wash clothe. There is no color, smell, or overly tick oil. It is not sticky or to thin or too thick. It applied perfectly and so easy. I have used a lot of mineral oil in the past especially on stainless steel equipment such as a grinder, mixer, and laundry sink that is stainless steel. I rub off small spots of rust starting and then oil down the whole inside and outer area down about twice a year and it keeps it looking good and keeps it from rusting. Theis size of bottle will last me a good long time and this is a good mineral oil and a great value. The size of bottle and the amount is great because even at this size it looks like I didn't use any to do each side of my huge cutting board. My board is brand new and I wanted to seal it before I used it. Works perfect with no grit and you don't have to use much to cover even a large board.
