I got this sand 5 months ago, delayed posting this until I was sure something was wrong. I have had aquariums for many many years and have never had any problems. I decided to set up a Cichlid tank this time hence making this purchase. I got the sand and added it to the tank I already had a few fish in. With in a couple weeks they were all dead. I had my water tested and all tested perfect, even the PH being high which cichlids like. So because all was good, I got a few more cichlids. Within a week they were dead. They would go into hiding and never be seen again. I took my water to a different shop, all tested good again. Bought a few more fish, same thing, in less than a week they were dead. I did this a total of 4 times. 2 times at each shop, having the water tested every time before trying again. Being frustrated with what was happening and having NEVER had any issues in my many previous years, I decided the only thing that was different was this sand. So I tore down the tank and trashed the sand. I bought new from a local shop and set the tank up again. I have had fish in the tank for 3 weeks now and haven't lost one. So there had to be something toxin with this sand.

Big bag. Doesn't come sealed well. Bag was cut when it arrived probably lost 2-3lb or more of sand during shipping. Actual sand is good and looks nice in tank.
